10/26 - Assault by Contact - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. On arrival a 29 year old male and a 28 year old female were both on scene. The two were living together in the home and had gotten into an argument over a personal matter. The female struck the male in the face during the altercation but did not cause injury other than a red mark. The female was cited for the assault and she left the home.

10/27 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:25 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a group home. A combative 20 year old female resident had been fighting with staff and began to threaten officers on their arrival. The female was transported by an officer to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention.

10/27 - Burglary - 800 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 5:39 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a burglary complaint. A resident arrived home to find that person(s) unknown had entered the home through the back door, removing several hundred dollars worth of electronics components.

10/28 - Delivery of a Controlled Substance - 300 block of S. Dick Price Road: At 10:17 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, a 53 year old male, was wanted for outstanding warrants and was removed form the vehicle. The passenger, a 46 year old female, was also removed form the vehicle. During a pat down for weapons, the female kept trying to place her hand into one of her pockets. A baggie of what appeared to be methamphetamine was found in the pocket. The female advised that the male had given it to her to hold when the officer initiated the stop. Inside the vehicle officers also located a bag with more baggies of both methamphetamine and marijuana. The male was charged with delivery and the female with possession. Both were booked into the Mansfield jail without incident.

10/29 - Possession of Dangerous Drug - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:56 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview it was determined that the driver, a 30 year old female, had a warrant for her arrest out of Arlington. While inventorying the female's possessions for transport, the officer located a controlled substance with no prescription or pill bottle. She was arrested for the possession charge as well and transported to Mansfield for booking.

10/30 - Leaving the Scene of an Accident - 100 block of North Road: At 8:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to an accident of a vehicle with a fence. On arrival the vehicle was still on scene but there was no driver. A witness reported seeing a male wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt running from the scene. During the accident investigation an address nearby had been located. Officers went to the address and located a male dressed in the same clothing described by the witness. He spoke very little English and required an interpreter. During the interview the male admitted to driving the vehicle. The property owner desired for the fence to be repaired and declined to prosecute. The driver was furnished with the estimate and the owner's information.

10/30 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:40 a.m. an officer received a theft report. The victim reported that her purse was possibly removed from the tailgate of her vehicle as she pumped her gas. She did not see the theft but found the purse missing. The female did list a male and female suspect that had engaged the victim in conversation.

10/30 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) - 500 block of North Road: At 7:10 a.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. On arrival they met with a 49 year old female victim who advised that her 28 year old son had struck her with a can of tomato sauce. The son was upset with the victim for an unknown reason and threw the can at her from the kitchen. The victim had a bruise consistent with the reported assault. The son had left for work before officers arrived.

10/30 - Theft of Materials - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:40 p.m. an officer received a report of a theft. The victim stated that a previous tenant had moved from a rental property and had removed metal fencing and copper wiring from the property. The tenant had no right to do so and caused damage to the unit.

10/30 - Theft $50 to $500 - 100 block of Mansfield Avenue: At 10:45 p.m. an officer received a report of a stolen bicycle. Person(s) unknown removed a 29" men's mountain bike from the carport of the residence. The bike is valued at $179.00.

10/30 - Stolen Vehicle Recovery - 5600 block of Eden Road: At 11:18 p.m. officers were dispatched to a major accident. On arrival a witness reported seeing a male operating a motorcycle who struck a tree. The male told the witness not to contact police as he had warrants for his arrest. When the witness contacted police the operator ran away from the scene and could not be located by officers. The motorcycle was stolen out of Arlington and was impounded to be held for the owner.

11/01 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:07 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, a 20 year old male, was wanted by Arlington Police. The driver was also found to be in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Mansfield for booking.
