03/29 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 800 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:50 a.m. officers stopped vehicle for a traffic violation. During the interview of the female driver and her male passenger, voluntary consent to search the vehicle was given. Officers located methamphetamine in a hidden door compartment. The female was arrested for the narcotics. The male, who showed to have an arrest warrant in Everman, had given a false name. He began complaining of chest pain and asked to be transported to JPS Hospital. He was not charged with anything at that time and was released to paramedics for transport.

03/29 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 3:04 p.m. officers responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed person. On arrival the officer located an 18 year old female who appeared to have problems with lucid thought processes and was acting irrationally. After contacting a family member it was discovered that the female is a recovering methamphetamine addict and may have relapsed. She was taken into custody and transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency evaluation and detention.

03/30 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 800 block of Kennedale Sublett Road: At 8:36 a.m. an officer responded to a theft complaint. A business manager reported that tools and material had been stolen over the weekend, possibly by an employee who was fired on Friday afternoon. The tools were removed from a trailer. The value of all items stolen was $14,342.58.

03/31 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 4500 block of Dick Price Road: At 8:15 a.m. a victim reported that a boat was taken from his business property during the overnight hours. The boat was entered into the national database as stolen.

04/01 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 200 block of N. Dick Price Road: At 10:49 p.m. officers responded to assist the Fire Department with an emotionally disturbed person. A 21 year old male was sitting in the house and stated to officers that he was thinking about killing himself. The male was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency evaluation/detention.

04/02 - Burglary - 6800 block of Oak Crest Drive East: At 8:30 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had kicked in the front door to his business and removed a computer. The offense occurred during the overnight hours. The computer was valued at $500.00. Damage to the door was placed at $300.00.

04/02 - Indecency with a Child - 400 block of Coker Valley Drive: At 2:15 p.m. a detective received a report from Child Protective Services in regards to possible sexual contact of a 9 year old child by a 14 year old step brother. The case is being jointly worked by police and CPS personnel.

04/04 - Failed to Report Accident - 4200 block of Kennedale New Hope Road: At 8:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to a vehicle accident. The vehicle was discovered in the creek bed just off of the roadway. A male approached the officers and stated that his wife had wrecked the vehicle and he had taken her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. She was still at the hospital and could not be interviewed. The vehicle was impounded and held for detectives.

04/04 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 900 block of Greenfield Court: AT 11:36 a.m. a victim reported to officers that a U-Haul truck he was using to move his belongings with had been broken into and $3,141.00 in possessions had been taken. The vehicle was entered while parked in front of the house.

04/04 - Assault Bodily Injury - 1100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:21 p.m. officers were dispatched to an assault. A victim reported that he was pepper sprayed by an unknown male who had become aggressive toward the victim and his wife. The male apparently became upset because an employee of the business told him that he needed to calm down and leave the patrons alone. The suspect had made offensive remarks to the victim about his wife. The suspect's actions were caught on video and a description of his vehicle was given to officers. The suspect had left before officers arrived.
