04/28 - Injury to a Child - 100 block of E. Mistletoe Drive: On this date detectives received a CPS report regarding physical abuse to a 13 year old male. The victim was reportedly assaulted by his father. The child, who is a Kennedale school student, actually resides in Arlington. The offense is believed to have occurred there. The report was forwarded to Arlington P.D. for further action.

04/28 - Indecency With a Child - 400 block of Municipal Drive: On this date detectives received a report from CPS of a sexual assault of an 11 year old female. The suspect was listed as the victim's father, who resides out of state. The child is a student in the Kennedale I.S.D. but resides in Arlington, where the offense occurred. The report was forwarded to Arlington P.D. for further action.

04/30 - Possession of Dangerous Drugs - 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 12:37 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle parked in the unlit rear parking area of Sonora Park. Upon investigating further, the officer observed a 32 year old female and a 33 year old male engaging in lewd conduct. Both subjects appeared to be highly intoxicated and there were several open alcohol containers in the vehicle. The female attempted to hide a marijuana pipe but was stopped by an officer. The female was also in possession of prescription pain medication for which she had no prescription. The male was cited for public intoxication and taken home to an address in Kennedale. The female was arrested for the narcotics and the vehicle was impounded. The female was booked into the jail without incident.

04/30 - Theft $50 to $500 - 1000 block of Oak Hill Park: At 2:40 p.m. a victim reported that a mail order package was taken from her front porch. The package was delivered by UPS during the day when the homeowner was gone. A neighbor observed an older model pick-up truck with a male and female drive by the home and stop. The male exited the vehicle and went up to the door to pick up the package and left. When the suspect saw the witness he waved and continued on.

04/30 - Vehicle Burglary - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:43 p.m. a victim reported to police that the catalytic convertor had been removed from her vehicle by person(s) unknown. The vehicle had been left unattended for several days at a business. The part was valued at $750.00.

05/02 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 1100 block of Swiney Hiett Road: At 6:09 p.m. a victim reported to police that he had $700.00 in lawn equipment stolen from his vehicle. The victim, a lawn care professional, was parked in front of a residence while working. Two unknown males driving a white Dodge extended cab pick-up truck stopped. One of the males cut the locks off of several lawn care trimmers and took them. A witness observed the theft and gave a license plate number to police.

05/02 - Injury to a Child - 100 block of Mineral Street: On this date detectives received a CPS report of physical abuse of a 4 year old child. The case is under investigation.
