05/11 - Assault by Contact - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 11:00 a.m. a school resource officer responded to a complaint of one student striking another student in the face. The assault left no visible injuries or marks. A citation was issued for simple assault by contact.
05/11 - Possession of Marijuana - 700 block of Dick Price Road: At 8:57 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a warrant marker on the license plate return. The male driver and female passenger were both identified to determine who the warrant was for. The female had traffic warrants from Mansfield as well as a parole violation warrant from Tarrant County. The male driver had an aggravated assault warrant from Crowley as well he was found to be in possession of marijuana. Both persons were arrested and transported to the jail without incident.
05/12 - Hit and Run Accident - 100 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 10:27 a.m. officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident. The victim reported that a black 2 door sports vehicle had left the parking lot of a business and struck the back of his car while entering the roadway. The suspect vehicle then fled as the victim pulled into the parking area to look at the damage. The suspect vehicle was later located at a residence but no one was home.
05/12 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 3:13 p.m. a victim reported that a known juvenile had stolen the victim's vehicle and debit card from an address in Fort Worth. The debit card was used in Kennedale to remove $302.00 from the victim's account.
05/12 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 5:24 p.m. a victim reported a theft to police. The victim sold a video game system through a Craigslist ad. The suspects called the victim and arranged to make the purchase. The suspects paid for the system with counterfeit money that the victim quickly recognized. The victim pursued the suspects long enough to photograph the license plate of the vehicle.
05/12 - Theft $50 to $500 - 600 block of Fawn Meadow Trail: AT 9:34 p.m. a victim reported to police that person(s) unknown removed his rear license plate from his vehicle. It is unknown where the plate was removed from.
05/13 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:28 a.m. officers responded to an emotionally disturbed adult female in the roadway. Officers were familiar with the female from previous similar calls. The female was threatening her caregivers and was very angry. She was transported to Sundance Hospital for a mental evaluation.
05/13 - Accident - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:25 p.m. a victim reported to police that he was struck from behind by another vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
05/13 - Vehicle Burglary - 200 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:26 p.m. a victim reported that she left her purse in her vehicle while at work. Person(s) unknown broke a window and took the purse.
05/13 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 700 block of Woodland Court: At 7:09 p.m. a victim reported that two males removed his 1997 Pontiac 4 door without his consent. The vehicle did not run and was parked on the street. A witness observed the two males tow the vehicle away using a white Chevrolet 3500 truck.
05/14 - Burglary - 800 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:10 a.m. a victim reported that his storage unit had been burglarized. The property was recovered in a vehicle in Fort Worth before he could report it stolen.
05/14 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 12:40 p.m. a victim reported an identity theft. An unknown person used his information to file a fraudulent tax return.
05/14 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 900 block of Shady bend Drive: At 4:35 p.m. a victim reported an unknown person used her information to file a fraudulent tax return.
05/15 - Reckless Damage - 7000 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:45 a.m. an officer responded to an accident. A vendor at a business forgot to set his brakes on his delivery vehicle. The vehicle rolled over a sign post and a fire hydrant before coming to rest.
