06/01 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 200 block of Village Street: At 5:28 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed person. On arrival it was determined that the victim, a female, had taken an overdose of medication in an attempt to harm herself. She was transported to Hugley Hospital for treatment and evaluation.

06/01 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 300 block of Broadway: At 6:50 p.m. a victim reported that the LED light bar was stolen from her 2011 Chevrolet truck. The truck was parked in the driveway when the bar was taken during the overnight hours. Value was set at $250.00.

06/02 - Criminal Mischief - 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:14 a.m. an officer responded to a burglar alarm at a business. Person(s) unknown had thrown a rock through the front glass door. The owner rep responded and stated that nothing was missing or disturbed.

06/02 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 300 block of Dick Price Road: During the evening shift a victim reported that a family member took his debit card and used it to make several purchases without authorization.

06/02 - Aggravated Assault (Family Member) - 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue: At 4:49 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival officers found a 39 year old male using a large knife to threaten both his mother and father. The male was taken into custody and transported to jail for booking.

06/02 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 2:00 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown person intercepted his tax return sent through the mail.

06/03 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 200 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:09 p.m. a victim reported that she purchased food at a local restaurant using her debit card. The victim failed to obtain a receipt or get the debit card back. The victim contacted the night manage for the business and was told that he didn't have the card. Two unauthorized charges were made on the card before she could cancel it through the bank.

06/04 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 1100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:40 p.m. a victim reported that her purse was taken from a local business. The purse and items were valued at $1,006.00.

06/05 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of 3rd Street: At 6:25 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) entered her unlocked vehicle and removed her wallet. The wallet was left in a driver side door pocket.

06/06 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 9:30 a.m. a victim reported that her unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. Person(s) unknown removed cash and an insurance card.

06/06 - Animal Bite - 100 block of Peach Tree Court: At 9:33 a.m. officers responded to a dog bite complaint. A dog was allowed to run out of a residence and bit a neighbor on the leg. The victim was treated at the scene but was not transported to the hospital. The dog was current on all vaccinations.

06/06 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 9:30 a.m. a victim reported that her unlocked vehicle was illegally entered during the overnight hours. Person(s) unknown removed the victim's purse and contents.

06/06 - Vehicle Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 10:45 a.m. two victims reported that their unlocked vehicles had been entered overnight. One of the victims lost some change and the other victim lost her purse and contents.

06/06 - Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child - 3700 block of Kennedale New Hope Road: At 9:16 p.m. an officer received a call from another police department in regards to an aggravated sexual assault of a child. The reporting officer stated that an 11 year old female child had made an outcry in his city that she had been assaulted by her father during a time when they lived in Kennedale. A case was opened for investigators, who will follow-up on the information.
