06/16 - Abandoned/Found Property - 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 7:15 a.m. a reporting person brought a stop sign belonging to the City of Arlington to the police department. The stop sign was found in a trash can at a residence at 500 North Road. Also found at a separate location was a Mexican passport for a female. Both items were placed in property for safe keeping.
06/16 - Theft Under $50 - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:00 a.m. a victim reported unknown person(s) removed the license plate from his vehicle. The vehicle was parked at the victim's place of business.
06/17 - Theft $50 to $500 - 700 block of Woodlea Lane: AT 5:20 p.m. a victim reported the theft of money from her residence. The victim listed the suspect as a family member who had visited for a short time before returning home to south Texas.
06/17 - Criminal Mischief Under $50 - 1200 block of Forest Green Drive: At 10:29 p.m. an officer responded to a report of criminal mischief. Person(s) unknown had written in red chalk on numerous vehicles in the neighborhood. After taking the reports, the officer cruised the area and located three juveniles walking. One of the juveniles was in possession of chalk that was identical to that used in the offenses. He was issued a citation for the damage and the chalk was seized as evidence.
06/18 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:50 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance at an adult day care for special needs persons. Officers located a female who was out of control and attempting to harm herself. The female was screaming while being restrained by staff. The female was transported to Millwood Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation.
06/18 - Criminal Mischief $50 to $500 - 100 block of Peachtree Court: AT 8:02 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance. A male resident reported that his ex-girlfriend had been on his property to talk about their breakup. She refused to leave when asked and the victim stated that he escorted her to her vehicle. After the female left the residence, the victim discovered that his vehicle had been "keyed." He believed that the ex-girlfriend committed the offense.
06/19 - Assault by Contact - 4800 block of U.S. Highway 287: At 12:40 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance call. A female victim reported that her boyfriend had struck her in the face during an argument. The female was not injured in the assault. The suspect had left the scene.
