07/12 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:20 p.m. an officer observed a male flagging him down. The complainant was a care giver at a local mental health facility. The care giver was attempting to control a female known to officers for past assaults on facility personnel and officers. The female was agitated/aggressive and was attempting to harm herself by walking into oncoming traffic. The female was taken into custody for transport to JPS for an emergency mental detention.
07/13 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 300 block of Pennsylvania: At 3:54 a.m. officers were dispatched to an assault/stolen vehicle complaint. The victim was located at a nearby convenience store in an unconscious state. After regaining consciousness and being checked by medics, the victim and a friend stated that they had been assaulted by up to 15 suspects, several who were known to them. One of the known suspects drove away in the victim's vehicle.
07/13 - Abandoned/Found Property - 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue: The identification for the victim in the assault earlier in the day was found by a citizen. It was turned into police.
07/14 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 4:57 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Officers had responded to the location earlier and spoke to a male who stated that his vehicle was taken by his girlfriend. As officers arrived the second time, the girlfriend/victim drove up in the vehicle. She was crying and stated that her boyfriend had assaulted her during an argument. The victim exhibited injuries consistent with her story. The victim stated that her boyfriend/suspect had been drinking for two days and was upset over a social media issue. The suspect had active warrants from Dallas County and was arrested for the assault as well as the warrants. An emergency protective order was also requested.
07/15 - Conspiracy to Commit Murder - 1000 block of Ohio Court: At 10:02 p.m. a complainant reported to police that he believes his wife has contracted with a known suspect/gang member to have him murdered. The complainant stated that his wife is a long-term methamphetamine user and had recently been released from jail. He provided the officer with information supporting his belief. The case is still under investigation.
07/16 - Theft - 700 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 8:54 a.m. a victim reported that two possible known suspects had removed car batteries and a gas can from his property. The items are valued at $105.00.
07/17 - Vehicle Burglary - 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:26 p.m. a victim reported that the battery was removed from his vehicle. The vehicle showed no signs of forced entry.
07/18 - Violate Protective Order - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 10:18 a.m. a known suspect was arrested for violating a protective order issued from an earlier domestic assault.
