[ARCHIVED] Incident Reports

09/20 - Assault by Contact - 900 block of Shady Creek Drive: At 9:46 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic assault. A victim reported that his estranged wife (suspect) came to his mother's home to exchange property. Both walked outside to make the exchange at the suspect's vehicle. The suspect was very agitated and began to argue with the victim, causing his to walk back into the home without the property exchange taking place. During the argument, as the victim re-entered the home, the suspect followed after being told not to enter. She refused to leave the residence after being told several times. As the victim and his brother began to physically remove the suspect from the home, she spat on both males as well as struck them. Neither one was injured in the assault. The suspect had departed before officers arrived.

09/23 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:44 a.m. a male called dispatch from a convenience store stating that he was "hearing voices telling him to kill himself." Upon being contacted by officers the male stated that he lived in a group home in Forest Hill and had walked away. The male requested that officers take him to JPS Hospital for treatment. The group home was contacted and the director confirmed that the male was a resident. He has walked away twice before but was located by staff and brought back. The home director agreed that the male needed to go to JPS and stated she would meet him there. The male was voluntarily transported without incident.

09/25 - Criminal Mischief - 800 block of Shady Bend Drive: At 5:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to a neighbor dispute/criminal mischief. On arrival the victim showed the officers video of his neighbor digging up part of the victim's sprinkler system that the neighbor believed was on his property. During the officers presence at the scene, the neighbor again dug up part of the system, claiming it to be on his land. The system was damaged, causing the property to flood. The part of the system that was damaged the second time appeared to be on the victim's property. A report was filed charging criminal mischief. Investigators will follow up.
