10/11 - Criminal Mischief Under $100 - 100 block of Briarwood Road: At 7:43 a.m. a victim reported to police that his home had been damaged. At approximately 7:20 a.m. the victim stated that he heard a noise outside of his home and looked out of a window. A male suspect was standing outside and fled when the victim looked out. A window screen was broken, and a shed broken into but nothing was missing.

10/11 - Driving While Intoxicated - 500 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:00 p.m. a vehicle was stopped for speeding. The driver, a 30 year old male, had no identifying information on him, including a driver's license. No license was found for the male in the DPS computer database. The male smelled of an alcoholic beverage and was unable to pass a field sobriety test. He was arrested for DWI and transported to the jail, where he refused a breath and blood test.

10/12 - Theft $2,500 to $30,000 - 200 block of S. Kenny Street: At 5:36 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown removed $4,000.00 from a safe in her home. The money was removed at some time between 08-01-2015 and the date of report. The victim was able to give information on several suspects.

10/13 - Criminal Mischief - 5700 block of I-20: At 1:25 p.m. a victim reported that his motorcycle was damaged by a known female suspect. The offense occurred at the victim's workplace and was caught on security cameras. The damage was estimated at $750.00.

10/13 - Burglary - 600 block of Ruth Drive: At 12:25 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress call. A 16 year old female victim reported that a known 18 year old male suspect had forced his way into the home and assaulted her. The victim had injuries consistent with the assault report. The entire event was captured on home security video. The suspect removed two cell phones as he left. A warrant will be issued.

10/15 - Evading Arrest or Detention (Vehicle) - 300 block of N. Dick Price Road: At 1:08 a.m. a vehicle was observed with an equipment violation. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled, running a red light at Dick Price Road and Kennedale Parkway. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed and drove toward Arlington on Bowman Springs Road. The officer did not pursue per department policy. Registered owner information was obtained using the vehicle's license plate.

10/15 - Driving While Intoxicated - 300 block of Dick Price Road: At 1:10 p.m. a vehicle was stopped for speeding. The driver, a 45 year old male, appeared to be intoxicated and was unable to successfully perform a sobriety assessment. The driver was arrested for DWI and transported to jail. Because of two prior DWI convictions, a mandatory blood draw was done by jail medical staff. An intoxicated passenger was cited at the scene and released to the custody of a sober friend who had responded to the scene.

10/15 - Abandoned/Found Property - 600 block of Averett Road: At 5:00 p.m. an officer found an air compressor pressure hose in the roadway. It was placed in property until an owner claims it.

10/16 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 5400 block of Kennedale Street: At 10:51 p.m. an victim reported that his business information had been changed by a loan company that he was in a civil dispute with. The dispute arose out of a loan the victim took out with the loan company. The loan company changed the business address and contacted customers to send payments directly to them. An attorney representing the victim was with him and is handling the civil end of the case.

10/16 - Burglary - 1400 block of J.R. Hawkins Road: At 2:41 p.m. a company employee reported a break-in at the office. Person(s) unknown broke a window and entered the business. An unknown amount of cash was taken.

10/16 - Online Impersonation - 700 block of Paula Lane: On the listed date a school resource officer at the junior high school took a report of a hacked student Instagram account. The account was improperly accessed without the account holder's permission. Several posts were made that created a safety hazard for the student account holder. The suspect's information was obtained by the account holder's parents and passed to the officer. The suspect's mother verified that her child did in fact access the account. The case had been completed and referred to the juvenile authorities for action.

10/16 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 7:10 p.m. a victim reported that his identity had been stolen. The victim stated that a known suspect had been stopped in May of 2015 by Cleburne police and the suspect had used the victim's information. A report was filed with Cleburne Police at the time. On 10/13/2015 the victim was contacted by a Burleson city marshal about outstanding traffic warrants. The victim did not receive any citations from Burleson and believes it is the same suspect. A report was filed with Kennedale on this latest incident to allow Burleson to re-issue the warrants to the actual suspect.

10/17 - Death Investigation - 1100 block of Greenview Lane: At 7:06 a.m. a deceased person was reported to police. Responding officers located a 35 year old male in the garage. No signs of foul play were noted by responding officers. The Medical Examiner's office will issue a definitive ruling after their investigation.
