11/01 - DWI - 4200 block of Dick Price Road: At 1:41 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver smelled of alcoholic beverage and was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The driver was arrested and transported to jail for a breath test, which was positive for intoxication. He was booked into jail.
11/01 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 2:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to a suspicious person complaint. Two subjects, a male and female, were outside of a closed business. The female had active arrest warrants and the male was determined to be intoxicated. The male was in possession of several containers of alcoholic beverage, some empty and some unopened. He was transported to jail for booking.
11/01 - CPS Referral - 100 block of Pine Meadows Drive: At 7:09 p.m. an officer received a complaint of an injured child. The complainants, the child's father and step-mother, stated that they believe the child had been injured by her biological mother and/or step-father. The complainants had a photo of a bruise on the child's back. The child was not present at the time of the complaint. The case remains open and has been referred to CPS for a home investigation.
11/02 - Abandoned/Found Property - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 3:35 p.m. an officer responded to a complaint at the high school in regards to found pills. A faculty member had found a baggie of pills and wanted to turn them in to police. The pills were identified and placed into evidence.
11/03 - Burglary - 3900 block of New Hope Road: At 8:45 a.m. a victim reported that his outbuilding had been broken into without his permission. Person(s) unknown removed several hundred dollars worth of lawn care equipment. A motor home was also entered and a 32 inch television was removed.
11/04 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 500 block of W. 3rd Street: At 1:24 p.m. a victim reported that a female suspect came to her home representing herself as a health care professional selling AARP-sponsored insurance. During the visit the victim provided her personal information for her bank account to the suspect. Shortly afterward, the victim discovered that her debit card was missing. She also discovered a withdrawal of several hundred dollars from her account at an ATM in Fort Worth. The account was frozen immediately until a new card can be issued.
11/04 - Aggravated Assault (Family Member) - 700 block of Paula Lane: At 12:54 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. A female victim stated that her now ex-boyfriend came to her home and used a handgun to threaten her. The ex-boyfriend wanted his pick-up truck back that the victim had been using. During the argument, the suspect allegedly pointed the weapon at the victim's head and mouth. The suspect had left before officers arrived.
11/04 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 1300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:37 p.m. officers were dispatched to a suspicious person. Upon locating the person, a male who stated that he is homeless, he was determined to be emotionally disturbed but not a danger to himself. The male told officers he was staying in a nearby homeless camp and the officer agreed to give him a ride. Before he could be transported, one of the officers located a bag with methamphetamine on his person. The male was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
11/04 - Disturbance - 1200 block of Wendy Court: At 9:32 p.m. officers were dispatched to a disturbance. On arrival, a female stated that she and her husband had been arguing over a ring that the husband refused to give back to the female. The female wanted to officers to get the ring back for her. Three days earlier, during another argument, the female used a handgun and fired a round into the ceiling to make the husband leave her alone. The gun was then unloaded and put away. Due to the time lapse between the incident and the report, the female was advised to seek legal counsel from an attorney.
11/05 - Forgery - 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a counterfeit $20 bill. The bill was used by a customer in an attempt to purchase a drink. After being interviewed the customer was released and the bill was seized to be turned over to the Secret Service.
11/06 - Theft - 1200 block of Little School Road: At 3:07 p.m. a business reported that an unknown male suspect entered the store and removed a stack of papers containing personal information for customers. The male ran out of the store and toward a black truck. The incident was captured on video.
