[ARCHIVED] Incident Reports

11/10 - Endangering a Child - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 1:48 p.m. an officer observed a five year old male unattended and walking on Spring Branch Lane. The child went into a home and began to watch TV. The officer contacted the child and asked if there was an adult home. The officer contacted the child's father, who was already enroute to the residence. The father stated that the child had been in the care of a 20 year old step-sister. The female called the father and told him that she had been called into work. The father was not aware that she was leaving the child alone and thought she would wait for him to get home. When the father arrived home he was informed that CPS would be processing a complaint on the incident. The incident remains under investigation as to whether the 20 year old female will be charged or not.

11/11 - Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information - 700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:03 a.m. a victim reported that a rental company had contacted him in regards to the return of a generator he had rented. The victim stated that he had not rented a generator and did not know who did. The victim believes that the rental may have been done by the unknown person(s) who burglarized his home recently.

11/12 - Abandoned/Found Property - 6700 block of Oak Crest Drive: At 4:43 p.m. an officer was flagged down by a citizen who found a purse with identifying information for the owner inside. A report was taken by the Kennedale officer assigned to the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force.

11/13 - Found Property - 1200 block of Cross Creek Drive: At 5:13 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. A complainant on scene stated that a male family member and the member's girlfriend were fighting over a pellet gun. Both parties had left the scene when officers arrived. The pellet gun, which was left at the scene, was taken and placed in property for safe-keeping.

11/13 - Theft $100 to $750 - 100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:40 p.m. a store manager reported that a male with a small child had entered the store and taken $208.00 in merchandise without paying. The male left the store in a truck driven by a female. This offense may be related to another theft earlier in the year at the same store location.
