12/15 - Assault by Contact - 100 block of S. Dick Price Road: At 4:48 p.m. officers responded to a domestic assault. On arrival, a juvenile victim reported that she had been assaulted by her mother during an argument. The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived. The assault was witnessed by another family member who was still present. The victim had injuries consistent with her account of the assault.

12/15 - DWI - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:13 p.m. officers responded to a report of an accident at Kennedale Parkway and I-20. A vehicle with heavy front end damage had pulled into the parking lot of a business. A witness stated that the vehicle appeared to have just struck an object but the witness did not actually see a collision. A check with area police agencies revealed that no accidents had been reported involving a vehicle like the one wrecked. The driver/suspect had left the scene before officers arrived and he was located in a field behind the business. The suspect was passed out and medics were called to check his status. He was transported to the hospital for treatment with an officer escort. The suspect appeared to all parties to be extremely intoxicated. He was also in possession of marijuana as well as alcohol. A blood draw warrant was obtained for presentation to the hospital staff. The suspect's blood was drawn to submit for analysis. He was left at the hospital as his condition was unknown. A warrant will be issued at a later date for his arrest. The suspect has three prior convictions for DWI.

12/16 - Hit and Run Accident - 100 block of S. Dick Price Road: At 5:25 a.m. officers responded to a hit and run accident. A victim reported that his trailer was struck and damaged by a vehicle that crossed the center stripe of the roadway. The vehicle, a new Camaro, fled the scene without contacting the victim. The suspect was later located at a nearby restaurant and appeared to be disoriented, possibly from injuries. He was transported to the hospital by medics for treatment. The vehicle was impounded.

12/16 - Recovered Runaway- 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue: At 7:23 p.m. officers responded to a report of a runaway female out of Arlington being harbored at the address. On arrival the juvenile was located but the resident was unaware that she was listed as a runaway. The female was returned to her foster home.

12/16 - Hit and Run Accident - 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:46 p.m. a victim reported to police that her vehicle was struck by a female driver who left the scene. The vehicle was legally parked in a parking lot when the incident occurred. Witnesses stated that the suspect was an elderly female who struck the victim's car several times but refused to stop when told to. Witnesses obtained a license plate number to locate the driver.

12/16 - Theft Under $100 - 1000 block of Jake Circle: At 5:58 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown suspect removed packages from her front porch during the day. Security video from the home showed a vehicle stop and a male exit the car. The male walked to the front door area and removed the packages. He re-entered the vehicle and it drove away.

12/17 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) - 200 block of Pine Meadow Drive: At 1:16 a.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. On arrival the officers determined that two adult brothers had been smoking marijuana and had gotten into a disagreement. The brothers began fighting with each other over the marijuana, which was missing. Both were issued citations for assault by contact as they were not injured during the fight.

12/18 - Assault by Contact - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 9:48 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. This was the second complaint of that evening at the address. An adult male had assaulted his adult sister by pushing a door open into her arm, causing pain. The brother was arrested for the assault and transported to jail for booking.

12/19 - Theft $100 to $750 - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 4:39 p.m. a victim reported to police that his former housekeeper had stolen his credit card numbers and was making large purchases with them. The housekeeper refused to stop using the numbers or to pay the money back for the charges.

12/19 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 1200 block of Wendy Court: At 6:34 p.m. officers responded to a report of an emotionally disturbed female. The female stated that she feared that she would hurt herself or someone else and wanted help. She was placed in emergency detention and transported to JPS for a mental evaluation.
