01/19 - Death Investigation - 4100 block of Danny Drive: At 10:05 p.m. officers responded to a report of a deceased person. The 63 year old male victim appeared to have died from natural causes as no evidence of foul play was observed. The victim had a history of medical problems and was on a number of medications.

01/19 - Theft $750 to $2,500 - 800 block of Trent Street: AT 7:58 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a stolen trailer. Person(s) unknown entered the storage yard of a business through an unsecured gate and removed the trailer, valued at $1,500.00.

01/20 - Theft $2,500 top $30,000 - 400 block of Glenbrook Drive: At 4:39 a.m. officers responded to a reported stolen vehicle. The owner stated that the vehicle had been stolen from his driveway at 4:15 a.m. and that the key had been left in the unsecured vehicle. The 2015 Honda was valued at $24,000.00.

01/20 - Burglary - 1400 block of Derby Drive: At 7:57 a.m. a victim reported that his vehicle and garage had been burglarized during the overnight hours. Security video showed a male walking into the driveway at 1:28 a.m. The male was followed by a trailing vehicle in the street. The suspect opened the two unlocked vehicles in the driveway and removed a wallet with credit cards and three pair of earphones. The suspect then used the garage door opener in one of the vehicles to open the door and enter the garage. A computer and tools valued at $2,410.00 were removed.

01/20 - Assault by Contact - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:33 p.m. a victim reported that she was assaulted during a verbal altercation. The victim stated that while servicing her vehicle at a gas pump, another female approached and they got into a verbal altercation. During the altercation, which broke off and then started up again, the suspect struck the victim in the mouth and immediately left the scene. The victim got a photo of the suspect's vehicle as it left. A warrant will be issued later.

01/20 - Vehicle Burglary - 1400 block of Derby Drive: At 4:11 p.m. a victim reported that his Ford pickup had been burglarized overnight. The unlocked vehicle was parked in the driveway and the suspect(s) entered through the driver side door. The suspect(s) removed property valued at $3,150.00.

01/20 - Suspicious Person - 400 block of Kevin Miller Road: At 6:25 p.m. officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. A male in a truck had entered the property to collect equipment needed for his work. The male had been doing work for the property owner. A dispute arose between them and the male stopped the work. During the officers' investigation the property owner attempted to assault the male and was stopped by an officer. The two were separated and the male left with his equipment. They were advised to get attorneys to work out their differences.

01/21 - Vehicle Burglary - 200 block of Cloverlane Drive: At 8:04 a.m. a victim reported that her 2014 Nissan was burglarized in the school parking lot. The victim's purse and cell phone were sitting on the front seat in plain view. Person(s) unknown broke the front passenger window to removed the items, valued at $800.00.

01/21 - Vehicle Burglary - 100 block of E. Mistletoe Drive: At 8:05 a.m. a victim reported that her 2015 Infinity was burglarized while parked at work. The driver side window was broken out and suspect(s) removed a wallet and an electronic charger cord.

01/21 - Vehicle Burglary - 7000 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:10 a.m. a victim reported that her 2014 Chevy pickup was burglarized at her workplace. Suspect(s) broke out the driver side window and removed the victim's purse, which was sitting in the front passenger floorboard.

01/21 - Emotionally Disturbed Person - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:21 p.m. officers responded to a call to assist Fort Worth Police. The Fort Worth officers had observed a male in a green Saturn parked outside of a business in Kennedale. The male had a pipe running from the vehicle tailpipe to the passenger compartment. The male was taken into custody and transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation.

01/22 - Indecency with a Child - 400 block of W. 3rd Street: At 5:15 p.m. an officer took a CPS report of possible sexual contact with a child. The victim, a 7 year old male, may have been touched sexually by a 16 year old male family member. The suspect is mentally challenged and is a client at MHMR. The suspect is currently a resident in an MHMR group home in another city.

01/23 - DWI - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:25 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle with an unconscious male stopped in a parking lot. The vehicle was running and the male was sitting behind the wheel. The male smelled of alcoholic beverage and was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. He was arrested and transported to jail where blood was drawn for a blood alcohol level test. He was booked into jail for DWI.

01/22 - DWI - 300 block of S. Dick Price Road: At 9:01 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. The 57 year old male driver of the vehicle was walking around in the roadway when officers arrived. He stated that he had driven his vehicle into the ditch by accident. The driver appeared to be intoxicated to the level that he was unable to perform the tasks for a sobriety assessment. He was arrested and transported to jail for a blood draw to determine intoxication. He was booked into jail for DWI.

01/23 - Burglary - 300 block of Bolen Road: At 12:33 p.m. a victim reported that her rented storage unit was broken into. Suspect(s) removed property valued at $3,150.00.

01/23 - Found Property - 200 block of S. New Hope Road: At 6:23 p.m. an officer received a wallet that was found at Sonora Park. The wallet contained a drivers license and credit cards as well as a Social Security card. The wallet was found by a child at the park and was given to the child's parent. The parent turned the wallet in to police. Attempts to contact the wallet's owner were unsuccessful.
