02/14 – Burglary – 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:37 p.m. officers responded to a burglary alarm at a pharmacy. On arrival the front door was observed to have been forced open. Unknown suspects had entered the building and removed a small safe containing cash and narcotics. Video footage of the offense was made available to officers.

02/14 – Theft $2,500 to $30,000 – 500 block of S. New Hope Road: At 5:40 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) removed a gooseneck flatbed trailer from his front yard. The trailer was not secured and was taken during the overnight hours.

02/14 – Abandoned/Found Property – 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 9:58 p.m. an officer was checking the high school property. A discharged fire extinguisher was found in the parking lot. It was placed in property for safe keeping until district personnel can pick the item up.

02/14 – Assault by Contact – 500 block of Winterwood Drive: At 11:50 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male and female, who are cohabitating, had been in an argument that became physical as the male attempted to prevent the female from entering the residence. The female had been drinking earlier in the evening. Both parties were cited for assault and the female left with a friend to spend the night.

02/14 – Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) – 500 block of North Road: At 7:02 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A female victim reported that her boyfriend had choked her when she attempted to leave a residence they were visiting. The suspect had previously assaulted the victim the day before by kicking her in the abdomen. The suspect had fled before officers arrived. A warrant will be issued for his arrest.

02/15 – Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information – 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 4:32 p.m. a victim reported that her mother is using her Social Security number to open utility accounts. The suspect had earlier acknowledged to the victim that she opened the accounts. The victim signed an identity theft affidavit.

02/15 – Emotionally Disturbed Person – 6800 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 6:20 a.m. an officer responded to a person being chased by unknown suspects. On arrival the male was obviously in distress and no one else was in the area. He finally admitted to having taken methamphetamine earlier. He was having a bad reaction to the narcotic and desired to be transported to the hospital. He was transported by the fire department to Mansfield Methodist Hospital.

02/15 – Burglary – 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 12:18 p.m. a school district representative reported a burglary at the Performing Arts Center. Two suspects had entered the building three nights earlier and defaced the property. The mode of entry is unknown as there was no forced entry observed. The offense and the suspects were captured on video.

02/16 – Assault by Contact – 200 block of Cloverlane Drive: At 5:33 p.m. a victim reported that he was assaulted by a female while he was waiting to referee a basketball game on 02/13/2016. The female attempted to pass the victim and cross the court when she struck the victim in an attempt to move him out of the way. The victim does not know the suspect but is attempting to get her information from others who were present at the time.

02/16 – Possession of Controlled Substance – 500 block of S. Eden Road: At 9:42 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. During the interview of the driver he was determined to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

02/17 – Assault Bodily Injury – 800 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:04 p.m. a victim reported being assaulted by a known suspect. The suspect approached the victim and assaulted him for no known reason. The victim exhibited injuries consistent with the reported assault. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

02/20 – DWI – 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 2:33 p.m. officers responded to a major accident. A vehicle driving the wrong way on a divided roadway struck another vehicle travelling the correct direction. The wrong way driver, a 39 year old female, appeared to be intoxicated. She was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment and was arrested. She was transported to jail for a breath test which indicated intoxication. She was booked into jail.

02/20 - Burglary – 300 block of Bolen Road: At 1:07 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown removed an elliptical exerciser from his storage unit. The item is valued at $600.00. No forced entry was observed at the time of the report.

02/20 – Public Intoxication – 700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:41 p.m. an officer responded to an intoxicated male. The male was found lying in a driveway and stated that he was attempting to walk to Mansfield. The male was very intoxicated and unable to walk any further. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
