9/25 – Emotionally Disturbed Person - 200 block N. Dick Price Road: At 5:49 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An adult female, in a state of agitation, had threatened to harm her step-mother. A witness to the threat was on scene and confirmed the victim’s story. The female had fled the scene before officers arrived but was located a short distance away, and was brought back to the residence. The female, who was incoherent at times, began to get more agitated when returned to the location. She was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation.
9/28 – Vehicle Burglary - 100 block Short Street: At 10:30 a.m. a victim reported that her handicap placard was stolen from her inside rearview mirror at 1:30 p.m. the day before. The vehicle was parked at a business with the driver side window partially down. Suspect(s) possibly reached into the car to remove the placard.
9/30 – Hit and Run Accident - 100 block E. Mistletoe Drive: At 1:59 p.m. an officer responded to a hit and run accident. A school employee reported that her vehicle was struck while parked at the school. The victim’s 2015 GMS SUV had a dent in the passenger side front door.
9/30 - Accident - 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:03 p.m. a victim reported that his Ford Taurus was struck by a black Chevrolet truck. The victim was parked at a gas pump when the truck pulled through and struck the Taurus. The truck exited the parking area and drove away. A witness to the accident followed the truck as it drove to Dick Price Road and then to Shelby Road. The witness lost contact with the vehicle at that point. The damage to the victim’s car was estimated at $250.00.
