11/22 - Criminal Mischief $100
to $750 - 100 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 10:00 a.m. a victim reported that
person(s) unknown entered her unlocked vehicle and damaged the rear view mirror
and windshield. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of a business.
11/22 - Disorderly Conduct - 300 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:23 p.m.
officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. Two males were fighting
due to a road rage incident that occurred earlier. A third person had stopped
and intervened to halt the fight just before officers arrived. It was
determined that no injuries occurred and the fight was mutual combat. Both
parties were cited and released at the scene.
11/23 - Burglary - 300 block Bolen Road: At 11:43 a.m. an officer received
a report of a burglary. Person(s) unknown had broken the locking mechanism for
a storage unit and removed the property without permission. Taken were electronics
and collector toys valued at $5,420.00.
11/24 - Application for Mental Detention & Observation - 300 block S.
New Hope Road: Day shift officers responded to a report of an emotionally
disturbed person. A 24 year old male had attempted to assault a family member
and was acting erratically. The male was detained and transported to JPS
Hospital for emergency evaluation and detention.
11/25 - Vehicle Burglary - 1000 block Estates Drive: At 10:00 p.m. a victim
reported that his unlocked vehicle was entered and a 9mm firearm stolen. The
vehicle was parked at the curb of the residence at the time of the offense.
11/24 - Abandoned/ Found Property - 600 block Hillside Drive: At 9:48 p.m.
an officer observed a suspicious person walking in the roadway. During the
interview of the male, he was found to have numerous arrest warrants from
Kennedale. He was placed in custody and transported to jail. During an
inventory of the male’s backpack, an air pistol was found. The jail would not
keep the property and requested that the officer take it to KPD. It was placed
in property and evidence for safe keeping.
11/25 - Theft $2,500 to $30,000 - 300 block S. Dick Price Road: At 5:21
p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown removed his trailer from his
business. The trailer was valued at $6,700.0. It was taken at some time over a
two day period.
11/26 - Public Intoxication - 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:09
a.m. officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person. A male was
observed in a parking lot and appeared to be intoxicated. The male also had
numerous arrest warrants from Kennedale and Dallas. He was placed in custody
and transported to jail for booking.
11/26 - Public Intoxication - 400 block Municipal Drive: Officers were
dispatched to a medic call for a walk-in at the Fire Department. A female
appeared to be having a reaction to a white powder that she had ingested
earlier. The victim had contacted friend to respond to the fire station as
well. Medics determined that the female needed to be transported to Mansfield
Methodist Hospital for treatment. Dispatch advised the officers that the victim’s
friend was at Kennedale P.D. in the lobby and was acting erratically. Officers
then made contact and determined that the female was intoxicated. She was
placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking.
11/26 - Incident - 100 block Peachtree Court: At 5:25 p.m. officers
responded to a disturbance. Two persons were reported to be fighting and one
was threatening the other with a handgun. The person with the handgun then left
as officers were arriving in the area. He was stopped and searched for the
handgun. A Taurus 9mm was in found in his pocket. The male stated that he had
taken the handgun from the resident of the house he had just left on Peachtree
Court. A check of the pistol revealed it to be stolen from Arlington. The male
was detained and taken back to the residence. The other male (resident) in the
disturbance did not want to press charges and stated that he had purchased the
weapon from a third male in Arlington. He was able to provide officers with the
information of the seller. The weapon was seized as evidence.
