3/12 - Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway:
At 10:09 a.m. officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief. The victim, atruck driver, reported that he left his Cadillac Deville parked while driving
his truck over the road. Sometime between 03/08/2017 and 03/12/2017 person(s) unknownbroke out the rear driver side window. Nothing was missing from the vehicle. The
damage was estimated at $100.00.

 

3/13 - Abandoned Vehicle - 5300 block of Link Street: At 1:26 a.m. anofficer observed a 2003 Ford Ranger parked in a traffic lane. The vehicle was
unoccupied and the keys were in the front floorboard. The vehicle was towed forsafekeeping because the owner could not be located or contacted.

 

3/13 - Theft $30,000 to $150,000 - 900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At
10:03 a.m. a complainant called to report a theft of company funds by a formeremployee. The employee, who was terminated by the company on 03/08/2017, had
stolen a large amount of money for jobs that the company had completed. Themoney was appropriated by the employee by asking customers to make checks for
jobs out to him personally instead of the company.

 

3/13 - Incident - 500 block of S. Eden Road: At 9:09 a.m. an officerresponded to a complaint of a threat made to a victim by a co-worker. The two
employees have had problems for 2 years but the victim is unsure why theproblem started. Both employees were warned to stay away from each other.

 

3/13 - Vehicle Burglary - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:08 p.m. a
victim reported that his 2007 Dodge Ram truck had been broken into. Person(s)unknown broke the rear passenger window and removed a bag with $2,650.00 in property.

 

3/13 - Theft Under $100 - 800 block of Shady Creek Drive: At 11:21 a.m. acomplainant reported that an unknown male walked up to a neighbor’s mailbox and
removed a piece of mail before leaving. The male then walked to a vehicleparked down the street and left. The homeowner/victim was contacted but could
not provide any information as to what was in the envelope.

 

3/14 - Theft $100 to $750 - 400 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:23 a.m.an officer responded to a report of an Oncor meter box being damaged. Person(s)
unknown removed the box from the building and took it apart. Also missing weretires and rims from a trailer on the property.

 

3/16 - Possession Control Substance - 100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At
11:55 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, afemale, smelled of marijuana. During the interview with the driver she was found
to be in possession of several prescription medications that were not hers. Shewas arrested and transported to jail for booking.

 

3/16 - Application for Mental Detention and Observation - 100 block of
Peachtree Court: At 8:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a screaming female.The female was located and was found to be acting agitated and irrational. The
female stated that she wanted to die and threw a cell phone at an officer. Thefemale was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency detention and
evaluation.

 

3/18 - Forgery - 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:30 a.m. anofficer responded to a reported forgery in progress at a local bank. A male was
attempting to cash a check drawn on his mother’s bank account. The signature onthe check was not the signature of the account holder and had been forged by an
unknown person. The mother was contacted and stated that the male was notauthorized to have the check. She was not sure whether she wanted to press
charges or not so the suspect was identified and released pending furtherinvestigation.
