6/13 - Application for Mental
Detention and Observation - 500 block of North Road: At 12:15 p.m. officersresponded to a report of an emotionally disturbed person. A female at the
residence had been threatening to harm herself. The female expressed feelingsthat concerned the officer enough to request an emergency detention and evaluation.
She was transported to JPS Hospital for the evaluation.
6/14 - Forgery - 1400 block of Derby Drive: At 11:20 a.m. a victim reportedthat person(s) unknown had forged two checks on his credit accounts. The victim
had been contacted earlier by a Tarrant County Precinct 7 deputy constable. Theconstable stated that during a search warrant service the two checks had been
found in the suspect’s location. Both checks bore the victim’s alleged signature.The victim checked his account and found other checks cashed that were not his.
The found checks were being held for a report to be filed.
6/14 - Credit/ Debit Card Abuse - 300 block of Spring Branch Lane: At 6:39p.m. a victim contacted police to report that a known person had taken her
wallet while visiting the victim’s home. The suspect used the victim’s creditcard to make several purchases. Before calling police the victim had tried to
contact the suspect by phone but was unsuccessful.
6/15 - Sex Offender Duty to Register- 500 block of North Road: At 8:15 a.m. a detective received a call from a
parole officer inquiring about the residency status of a sex offender under theofficer’s supervision. The parole officer reported that the sex offender had
been living in Kennedale for several days but had not notified Fort Worth,where he had been living, or Kennedale police to change his residency. The
offender is required to register for life due to possession of childpornography. The parole officer stated that the offender was supposed to be
moving to Haltom City but had not done so. Further investigation revealed thatthe offender was not registered in Kennedale and was not moving to Haltom City
in the immediate future. On 06/16/2017 an arrest warrant was issued for theoffender. He was arrested by officers from Kennedale P.D. and transported to
jail for booking.
6/16 - Application for Mental Detention and Observation - 200 block of N.Dick Price Road: At 10:33 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A
female adult was threatening to harm a family member. Family members toldofficers that the female was “off of her meds” that are taken for mental health
issues. The female is known to officers from previous dealings of this type.She was transported to Sundance Hospital for a voluntary evaluation and
treatment.
6/16 - Burglary - 1000 block of Bowman Springs Road: At 2:15 p.m. a victimreported that his home had been burglarized by his adult son. The time of the
offense was unknown.
6/16 - Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 - 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway:At 6:00 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had broken a window on
her home while she was out. The damage was estimated at $125.00.
6/17 - Driving While Intoxicated - 500 block of Dick Price Road: At 2:09a.m. an officer observed a vehicle stopped in the oncoming lane of traffic. An
adult male driver was passed out across the front seats. The driver wasawakened and exited the vehicle. He appeared to have been drinking heavily and
was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety test. He was arrested forDWI and transported to jail for booking.
6/17 - Vehicle Burglary - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 1:15 p.m. a
victim reported that person(s) unknown entered her unlocked vehicle and removeda bottle of prescription medicine. The offense occurred during the overnight
hours.
