The Kennedale Police Department would like to take a moment to remind everyone that the discharge of fireworks in the city limits is prohibited. Every year across the nation, numerous injuries and unnecessary fires occur due to the use of fireworks. Many of these injuries and fires result in devastating losses to individuals, families, and others.
There are a number of public displays that occur each year at this time, and we encourage you to attend one of these instead. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Independence Day, so please don’t use fireworks. Happy Fourth!
