6/25 - Theft $2,500 to $30,000 - 100 block of Spiller Street: At 10:22 a.m. a victim reported that her 2015 Honda Civic was stolen from her driveway. The victim believed that the vehicle may have been taken by the same people who stole her roommate’s purse earlier in the month. One of the three, a 26 year old, is daughter and grand-daughter to the other two and is not a resident of the house. The 26 year old suspect was not supposed to be at the residence as she has a restraining order against her and has lost custody of her children to the mother and grandmother. The suspect was given a criminal trespass warning on a previous attempt to enter the home and it was still in effect. She was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

The officer contacted the manufacturer by telephone to see if an owner could be identified. A roofing company in Fort Worth was shown to be the owner and was contacted. The company representative stated that the forklift had been stolen 10 days earlier but they had not been able to get Fort Worth police out to make a stolen vehicle report yet. The company rep responded and reclaimed the vehicle.

6/26 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) - 100 block of Oakwood Lane: At 12:48 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The female had several cuts to her forearm, including one that appeared to require stitches. Medics responded to treat the female, who was uncooperative. The female was taken into custody and transported to JPS Hospital for treatment of the wounds and then was admitted for an emergency mental detention and observation.
