9/3 - Possession Control Substance - 900 block of Bowman Springs Road: At 1:41 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The adult male driver had active arrest warrants from Kennedale and was placed under arrest. The driver was discovered to have methamphetamine and related paraphernalia on his person during the arrest. He was transported to jail for booking and the contraband was placed in evidence.

 

9/3 - Arrest - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: at 4:12 a.m. officers responded to an investigative call. An employee at a convenience store handed the officer a counterfeit $20 bill and stated that a male in the parking lot had tried to pass it. The officers went to speak with the male and discovered he had multiple arrest warrants from Arlington. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking. The counterfeit money was placed in evidence.

 

9/4 - Incident - 100 block of Pine Meadows Drive: At 6:24 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A juvenile female had forcibly left a temporary residence assigned for her by CPS and went to a neighboring residence to visit her mother. The mother is under a CPS order for only supervised visits with the juvenile. The juvenile was supposed to be picked up the next day by her grandmother, who will provide a place of residence in Collin County. The grandmother was contacted and responded immediately to pick the juvenile up.

 

9/5 - Possession Control Substance 800 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:18 a.m. an officer stopped to check a suspicious vehicle. An adult female was located near the vehicle and was discovered to have active arrest warrants issued for her. During the interview the female was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia. She was transported to jail for booking and the contraband was entered into evidence.

 

9/7 - Driving While Intoxicated - 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:14 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for erratic driving and an equipment violation. The adult male driver had been drinking and was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The driver was arrested for DWI, transported to jail for a blood draw, and for booking.

 

9/7 - Vehicle Burglary – 1100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 3:34 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown broke out a window on a vehicle for sale and removed the stereo. The vehicle was one of several on a sales lot.

 

9/7 - Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 5:08 p.m. an officer responded to a criminal mischief call at City Hall. A known male had left the building earlier and slammed the entry/exit door due to being angry. When the door slammed it sustained damage to the handle.

 

9/7 - Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 - 900 block of Harrison Drive: At 10:44 p.m. a victim reported that a possible known person caused damage to his 2013 Ford SUV parked at the curb. An older model Tahoe was seen on video approaching the vehicle just before the mirror was damaged. The victim’s girlfriend stated that she believed the suspect may be her ex-husband.
