10/22 - Criminal Trespass - 1200
block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:48 a.m. an officer was approached by a
store employee about a male who was in the business illegally. The male had
been given a criminal trespass warning on 10/21/2017 and was not allowed to be
on the property. The male acknowledged receiving the warning and dispatch
confirmed a written warning on file for the male. He was placed under arrest
for criminal trespass and transported to jail for booking.
10/22 - Missing Person
(Adult) - 1200 block of Elm Brook Drive: At 4:44 p.m. a father reported his
adult son as missing. The son, who attends high school in Arlington, left home on
10/20/2017 to go to the store but never returned. The father had tracked the
son’s cell phone to several residences in Arlington but did not find his son or
the vehicle at any of them. A report was generated and the son was entered into
the national database as missing.
10/23 - Driving While
Intoxicated 2nd - 4300 block Dick Price Road: At 1:22 a.m. an
officer was parked and monitoring traffic when a vehicle pulled in behind him.
The vehicle, a 2005 GMC Savannah, was occupied by an adult male driver who
smelled of alcoholic beverage. There was an open container of beer in the
center console as well. The officer began interviewing the driver, who was
unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. He was arrested for
DWI 2nd, due to a prior conviction for DWI. He was transported to
jail for booking and a voluntary blood draw.
10/23 - Fraud Use/Possession
of Identifying Info - 3800 block of S. New Hope Road: At 8:40 a.m. a victim
reported that an unknown suspect had obtained a credit card in the victim’s
name. It is unknown who the suspect is or how he obtained the victim’s
information.
10/23 - Possession Control
Substance - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:55 p.m. officers responded
to a report of a male in a vehicle using narcotics. The officers located the reported
vehicle with the driver, an adult male, still inside. The male was interviewed
and became very agitated and nervous. Officers observed a syringe on the seat
and began a search of the vehicle. The suspect was found to be in possession of
black tar heroin. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
10/24 - Possession of Child
Pornography - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 8:00 a.m. a school resource officer
received a report of inappropriate photos placed on Snapchat. The photos were
forwarded to the officer’s e-mail for review. There were photos of at least two
naked under-age female students. The students have been identified and the
report is under investigation.
10/25 - Criminal Mischief $2,500
to $30,000 - 600 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 8:14 a.m. an officer
received a report from a city employee of an open fire hydrant that was allowed
to run for an extended period of time. It is unknown who opened the hydrant.
10/25 - Criminal Mischief - 800
block of Shady Bend Drive: At 11:05 a.m. an officer received a report of a
broken ceramic object on a backyard patio. The residents of the home stated
that an unknown person had broken the ceramic item, which appeared to be a
piggy bank, during the overnight hours.
10/25 - Application for
Mental Detention and Observation - 7000 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:44
p.m. officers responded to a report of a disturbance. A female reported that
her estranged husband had just left the location. The husband was stopped by a
responding officer. The female advised that she and the male were outside of
her place of employment. The male, who has been separated from the female for
nine months, wanted to return home. The female would not allow him to return.
The male reportedly pulled a handgun from the vehicle and threatened at least
twice to harm himself. A handgun was found in the male’s vehicle. The male was
transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation and treatment.
10/26 - Possession Drug
Paraphernalia - 600 block of Bluebonnet Lane: During school hours a resource
officer was contacted about a male trespassing on the high school campus. A
previous criminal trespass warning had been given to the male, who was not
allowed to be on campus. The male and another male companion were located in
the school parking area but ran off campus. They were located by the resource
officer on a nearby street. The male was arrested for the trespass and was
transported to jail for booking. He was also found to be in possession of drug
paraphernalia during the arrest.
10/26 - Aggravated Robbery
w/Firearm - 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 11:54 a.m. officers
responded to a robbery in progress. A male had entered a bank and demanded money
from a teller. The male stated that he had a firearm but did not display it. After
getting money form the teller the male left the area in a dark colored
Chevrolet HHR.
10/28 - Assault Impede
Breath/Circulation (Family Violence) - 700 block of Magnolia Drive: At 12:08
p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A husband and wife had been
in an argument that became physical. The husband grabbed the female around the
throat and impeded her breathing for a short period of time. The female had
injuries consistent with her story of the incident. The husband was arrested
for the family violence assault and was transported to jail for booking.
10/25 - Incident - 900 block
of N. Little School Road: At 7:16 p.m. an officer responded to a complaint of a
city ordinance violation. The compliant was received and documented in a report
for code enforcement.
