12/4 - Incident - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 7:45 a.m. a school
resource officer was contacted by school staff to assist in a complaint
investigation. Two underage male students had allegedly received several photos
of an underage female in various stages of undress. The photos came to the
school’s attention when one of the males sent the photos to several female
students, who reported the incident to school staff. Due to the age of the
individuals involved this is being handled internally by the school.
12/3 - Criminal Mischief $100
to $750 - 4200 block of Danny Drive: At 1:25 p.m. a victim reported that his
mobile home had been damaged in an attempted break-in. Two males were prying on
the front door when a neighbor scared them away. The incident occurred at 2:00
a.m. that morning. Nothing was taken.
12/3 - Application for Mental Detention and Observation - 700 block of Woodland
Court: At 1:25 an officer responded to a possible overdose report. An adult female
was unresponsive and had taken an unknown amount of prescription medication.
The female was transported to JPS Hospital by medics and was detained for an
emergency mental detention and evaluation.
12/4 - Vehicle Burglary - 900 block of Sunrise Drive: At 12:40 a.m. a
victim reported that his unsecured vehicle was entered by an unknown male. The
suspect removed flashlights and a memory card. The offense was captured on home
security video.
12/4 – Vehicle Burglary - 200 block of Collett Sublett Road: At
7:25 a.m. a victim reported that his unlocked GMC truck was entered and a key
to a second vehicle on the property was removed. The suspect(s) attempted to
drive the second vehicle away but struck a tree and fled the scene without the
vehicle. Nothing else was missing from any of the vehicles.
12/4 - Vehicle Burglary - 300 block of W. 5th Street: At 8:18
a.m. a victim reported that his two vehicles were illegally entered overnight.
Suspect(s) removed cash and a work identification badge. Both vehicles were
unlocked.
12/4 - Vehicle Burglary - 100 block of Briarwood Road: At 11:55 a.m. a victim
reported that her unlocked vehicle was illegally entered overnight. Suspect(s)
removed a purse containing cash, medication, and credit/debit cards.
12/4 - Theft $2,500 to $30,000 - 4100 block of Danny Drive: At 5:15 p.m. a
victim reported that his Polaris ATV was stolen from his property. The vehicle
was behind a garage under a canopy. The vehicle is valued at $25,000.00.
12/5 - Application for Mental
Detention and Observation - 100 block of N Dick Price Road: At 8:22 a.m. an
officer responded to a suspicious person. An adult male was clothed only in his
undershorts and appeared to be suffering from a mental illness episode. The
male was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
12/5 - Abandoned/ Found Property - 400 block of Municipal Drive: At 6:30
p.m. a citizen found a debit card on the ground while at the city Christmas tree
lighting. A patrol officer was able to locate the owner and return the card.
12/5 – Vehicle Burglary - 400
block of 4th Street: At 7:00 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown
removed four tires and rims from the bed of his truck. The theft occurred
during the overnight hours. The items were unsecured in the bed of the truck.
They were valued at $2.020.00.
12/6 - Theft $100 to $750 - 900 block of Wildcat Way: at 7:34 p.m. a victim
reported that her IPad was stolen from her unattended back pack while she was
at the Performing Arts Center. The item was valued at $400.00.
12/7 - Driving While Intoxicated - 5100 block of Treepoint Drive: At 1:41
a.m. officers responded to a possible major accident report. A vehicle was
partially in a driveway on Little School Road and the adult male driver was
passed out behind the wheel. The driver was finally awakened by the officers
but was unable to answer questions or to submit to a field sobriety assessment.
He was arrested and transported to jail for processing.
12/7 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) - 100 block of Briarwood
Road: At 9:57 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An adult
female claimed that she had been assaulted by her adult son, who lives in the
home. The son stated that the mother had started arguing with him and got into
his face, spitting on him. Neither person had injuries consistent with an
assault and neither wanted to press any charges. The male left the residence in
his vehicle.
12/8 – Theft under $100 - 1200
block of N. Little School Road: At 3:37 p.m. an adult male victim reported that
he left his wallet at a bank by mistake and returned to get it. A teller had
the item and returned it to the victim. There was $100.00 in currency missing
as well as a credit card. The card was located in a trash can in a restroom.
The cash was not located. A security video captured a male and female suspect
picking up the wallet and the male entered the rest room where the card was
found. Both suspects are known to the employees as customers of the business.
