12/29 - Warrant Arrest (other
agency) - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 12:50 a.m. an officer
responded to a suspicious person investigation. Upon interviewing the adult
male it was determined that he had multiple arrest warrants out of Bedford and
Haltom City. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
12/24 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway:
At 2:34 a.m. an officer observed what appeared to be an unoccupied vehicle
parked at a gas pump. A routine license check showed the vehicle to be stolen
out of Fort Worth. An adult male was discovered to be asleep inside the
vehicle. The male was contacted and advised that he had purchased the vehicle
in November of 2017, which was shortly after the vehicle was reported stolen.
The male was discovered to have 12 arrest warrants issued out of Fort Worth. He
was arrested and transported to jail for booking. The vehicle was impounded for
Fort Worth police.
12/25 - Possession Control Substance - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway:
At 12:19 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver appeared
extremely nervous and during the interview was discovered to be in possession
of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
12/25 - Domestic Disturbance - 600 block of Little School Road: At 8:34
p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male reported that he was
being stalked by a former girlfriend. Upon arrival the male and female had been
arguing but were not in a physical altercation. The female was intoxicated and
had multiple arrest warrants from Fort Worth. She was arrested and transported to
jail for booking.
12/27 - Assault (Bodily Injury) (Family Violence) - 400 block of W.
Kennedale Parkway: At 4:02 p.m. officers responded to a report of an assault in
progress. A female suspect was alleged to be assaulting a male victim as they
drove on Kennedale Parkway. The officers located the male walking in the 300
block. The male stated that he had been in a verbal altercation with his
girlfriend as they were driving. She was driving the vehicle and began to
strike the male victim multiple times. The victim finally exited the vehicle in
the 400 block of Kennedale Parkway and the suspect drove away. He did not want
to press charges and refused to cooperate with officers. A video of the incident was made available to
officers by a witness. The investigation remains open at this time.
12/27 - Recovered Stolen Vehicle (other agency) - 200 block of Chappellet
Street: At 8:08 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle
in a neighborhood. The license plate given to dispatch by the reporting party
showed the vehicle to be stolen out of Arlington. When the officer saw the
vehicle, it started moving from the place where it had been parked all day. As
the officer turned around to stop the vehicle, the driver fled at a high rate
of speed and the vehicle, a Ford F250 truck, was found abandoned a short
distance away. The suspect had attempted to drive across a vacant lot and then
left the vehicle. The vehicle was confirmed stolen by Arlington and was
impounded. Nearby security video captured the suspect getting into the vehicle
and leaving. The suspect was not located in the area.
12/27 - Theft- Property $750 to $2,500 - 1200 block of Little School Road:
At 7:15 p.m. a company employee for T-Mobile reported the theft of three Apple
I-Phones. The phones were display models placed in the showroom. Two suspects
came into the store and were looking around. When the employees were busy with
other customers, the suspects removed the phones and left.
12/28 - Burglary - 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:33 a.m. a
victim reported that unknown suspect(s) broke the front window to his business
and removed several packs of cigarettes.
12/30 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 1:25
a.m. an officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind the high school
field house. The driver, who was reclined in the driver seat, was contacted.
The license plate that was displayed was not for the vehicle and further
investigation revealed the vehicle to be stolen out of Arlington. The suspect
stated that he bought the vehicle from someone in east Fort Worth. The suspect
was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
12/30 - Driving While Intoxicated - 5900 block of IH 20 W.: At 4:08 a.m.
an officer stopped a vehicle for running a red light. The adult male driver was
contacted and appeared to be intoxicated. He admitted to drinking alcohol and
was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The suspect
was arrested and transported to jail for a voluntary blood draw and booking.
