2/4 - Application for Mental
Detention and Observation - 1400 block of Derby Drive: At 3:18 p.m. an officer
responded to an assault report. A 12 year old male was struck by his juvenile
brother after the 12 year old forced his way into the brother’s room. The 12
year old was in a state of emotional distress and had threatened to harm
himself. He was transported to a private hospital for an emergency mental detention
and evaluation.
2/8 - Criminal Mischief $100 to
$750 - 1100 block of Jake Circle: At 12:17 p.m. an officer received a report of
criminal mischief. A victim reported that his pickup truck was damaged while
parked in his driveway. During the overnight hours person(s) unknown scratched
the paint on the vehicle. Damage was done to the driver side and the hood.
2/8 - Incident - 400 block of
Municipal Drive: At 2:07 p.m. a victim reported that his Honda Civic was
damaged while parked on a school parking lot. The victim’s vehicle was struck
by an unknown vehicle, causing scratches to the front bumper. No information
was left for the victim.
2/9 - Abandoned/ Found
Property - 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 3:15 p.m. an officer responded
to a local business for found property. A customer had turned in a wallet found
on the property. The wallet contained identifying information and credit cards.
A phone number was located for the owner of the wallet and a voice mail was
left indicating how to reclaim the property. The wallet was placed in property
for safe keeping.
2/9 - Assault by Threat (Family
Member) - 1000 block of Chandler Street: At 4:56 p.m. a victim reported to
police that he had been assaulted by his wife on 02/07/2018. During an argument
with his wife, the victim reported that she threw food on him that was being
prepared for dinner. The wife also attempted to assault their juvenile
daughter. The wife left the home and went to another family property in another
city.
2/10 - Forgery - 1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 12:30 p.m. a
business manager reported to police that they had two counterfeit $20 bills
passed at their location. The bills were passed on two separate occasions and
were from the same suspect. The second clerk obtained a license plate number as
the suspect drove away. The bills and license plate number were given to the
officer.
