4/8 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family
Violence) - 1300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:30 p.m. officers responded
to a disturbance. A male was attempting to gain entry into a vehicle occupied
by a female. On arrival officers determined that the male and female were
husband and wife. During a verbal argument in the vehicle the male became
physical, pulling the female’s hair and twisting her wrist. The male also had
multiple arrest warrants out of Arlington and Fort Worth. He was arrested for
the assault as well as the warrants. He was transported to jail for booking.
4/10 - Assault by Contact - 400
block of Municipal Drive: At 8:30 a.m. a female victim reported that she was
assaulted by a male while at the male’s home. The victim reported that the male
had asked her to come to his home for a debt payment. While inside the home the
male suspect made unwanted contact of a sexual nature with the victim. The
victim was able to exit the home before the suspect could assault her any
further.
4/11 - Abandon/Found Property - 200 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:18
p.m. an officer responded to a report of abandoned property. A child’s wagon
was found on the side of the road. The wagon contained numerous tools, none of
which could be confirmed as stolen. Since no owner was present the items were
taken and placed in property until an owner can be found.
4/13 - Manufacture/Delivery of Control Substance - 1200 block of W.
Kennedale Parkway: At 3:51 a.m. an officer observed a suspicious vehicle with
an expired license plate parked at a business. A female sitting in the driver’s
seat exited as the officer stopped behind the vehicle. The female attempted to
evade the officer, who stopped her from walking away immediately. The female
stated that vehicle belonged to a friend inside the business. The female also
stated that she was not driving the vehicle but was sitting behind the steering
wheel waiting on her friend. Upon contacting the friend, another female, it was
discovered that the first female was actually driving the vehicle when it
pulled into the business. During the contact and interview both females were
discovered to have active arrest warrants issued for them. They were also found
to be in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and GHB. The females were
arrested and transported to jail for booking. The narcotics were placed in
evidence.
