9/23 - Manufacture/Delivery of Control Substance - 5600 block of E. Loop
820 N.: At 12:41 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The
adult female driver was discovered to have multiple arrest warrants out of
another city. Incident to the arrest, it was also discovered that the female was
in possession of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia. She was charged
with the warrants and narcotics, and was transported to jail for booking.
9/23 - Burglary - 5800 block of Eden Road: At 3:10 p.m. a victim reported
that is business was broken into during the previous three days. Unknown
person(s) removed $430.00 in property. Entry was made by cutting a chain and
lock that secured a gate.
9/24 - Assault by Contact - 100 block of Pine Meadow Drive: At 9:51 a.m.
officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male and female were arguing
when the female struck the male by slapping him in the face. No injury or pain
was reported by the victim. The female was charged with assault by contact.
9/24 - Burglary - 4200 block of Dick Price Road: At 8:36 a.m. a victim
reported that her business was burglarized overnight. Unknown person(s) removed
a computer and security camera from the business.
9/24 - Vehicle Burglary – 800 block of Trent Street: At 4:43 p.m. a victim
reported that his Ford F350 truck was burglarized, possibly overnight. Unknown
suspect(s) entered the locked vehicle through the driver side door by damaging
the door lock to disengage it. Property valued at $251.00 was removed.
9/24 - Theft Under $100 - 1000 block of N. Little School Road: At 3:58 p.m.
a victim reported that an unknown female removed mail from her residential mail
box. The victim was unable to determine what was stolen.
9/25 - Burglary - 200 block of Valley Lane: At 3:18 p.m. a victim reported
that his business was burglarized. Unknown person(s) forced entry in to the
business and removed numerous tools and construction equipment.
9/26 - Aggravated Assault - 300 block of South New Hope Road: At 9:28 p.m.
a victim contacted police to report that he was threatened by his female
roommate. The victim reported that he came home late from work and the female
threatened to stab him with a large kitchen knife. The male left the residence
and the female locked him out of the home. The victim left to stay with
friends. Officers attempted to contact the suspect but were unable to get her
to respond. A warrant will be issued at a later date.
9/27 - Indecency w/ Child - 200
block of S. Kenny Street: At 10:46 p.m. an officer responded to a report of indecency
with a child. After interviewing the child and contacting the on-call
investigator, an offense report was generated. CPS was also notified. A
forensic interview will be scheduled with the child through Alliance for Children.
9/27 - Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info - 100 block of
Peachtree Court: At 4:17 a.m. a victim reported that he was scammed by an unknown
male. The male contacted the victim by phone and reported to be with a bail
bond agency that held a bond on the victim for a previous criminal charge. The unknown
caller demanded more money in order to keep the bail bond in place. It was
discovered after the fact that the caller was not associated with the bond
company.
9/28 - Sexual Assault of a Child - 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue: At
7:45 a.m. a school resource officer was notified of a possible sexual assault
of a juvenile female. The victim reported that after school on the previous
day, a known male suspect had assaulted her in a bedroom of the home. The victim
reported that she was present at the home with at least two male friends. The
victim’s mother was contacted and she was sent to Cook Childrens Hospital for
an examination.
9/29 - Theft $100 to $750 - 1200 block of Bowman Spring Road: At 11:41 p.m.
an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop it was
determined that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Dallas County. The
occupants, a male and female, were detained. While interviewing the female driver,
a male in a separate vehicle approached and informed the officer that the male
passenger in the stolen vehicle had been observed committing a theft at a
nearby salvage yard. The property described was found in the vehicle. The
female was also discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine. Both
subjects were transported to jail for booking.
9/29 - Theft $2,500 to $30,000 - 200 block of Valley Lane: At 9:29 a.m. a victim
reported that his 2009 Dodge truck was stolen from in front of his storage
unit. The vehicle was parked unattended with the keys in the ignition.
