3/24 - Indecency w/ Child - 500 block of Oak Forest Court: At 8:38 a.m. a
parent reported that her juvenile daughter had been video recorded performing a
sex act. The parent was alerted to the offense by a school resource officer.
The juvenile reported to the parent that she was forced to perform the act. The
case is under investigation.
3/25 - Vehicle Theft - 5700 block of E. IH 20: At 8:16 a.m. a company
employee reported that two company vehicles were stolen over the weekend. One
was a 2006 GMC truck and the other a 1999 Chevrolet truck. A third vehicle, a
1999 Mazda truck, had been entered and a theft attempted but it was
unsuccessful.
3/26 - Animal Bite - 400 block of Municipal Drive: On this date the animal
control officer received a report about a complainant’s dog being attacked and
bitten by two pit bull dogs. The dog was bitten while the complainant was
taking it for a walk.
3/26 - Possession Marijuana - 600 block of N. Dick Price Road: At 1:45 p.m.
an officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The male driver and female
passenger were identified and were asked to exit the vehicle as the officer
could smell marijuana odor inside the passenger compartment. The officer located
marijuana and related paraphernalia as well as counterfeit $100 bills. The male
admitted to the contraband and was placed under arrest.
3/26 - Application for Mental Detention and Observation - 800 block of
Mansfield Cardinal Road: At 9:21 p.m. officers responded to a report of a man
trying to hang himself. The male was located and admitted to making the attempt.
He reported that it was due to the loss of a newborn child a week earlier. The
male was taken into custody and transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency
mental evaluation.
3/27 - Burglary - 200 block of Chapellet Street: At 8:34 a.m. officers
responded to a domestic disturbance. A female victim reported that her soon-to-be
ex-husband had entered the home in violation of a court order. The victim and
her son both reported that the male pushed the female during the confrontation,
causing her to stumble into a ladder and cause injury to her knee and finger.
The suspect had left before officers arrived.
3/28 - Recover Stolen Vehicle (other agency) - 1300 block of Gilman Road:
At 7:30 a.m. an officer responded to a report of glass in a parking area next
to a Chevrolet truck. A computer check of the truck showed it to be stolen out
of Houston. The owner was contacted and informed on how to reclaim the vehicle.
It was impounded for safe keeping.
3/28 - Incident (other) - 800 block of Warwick Court: At 6:39 p.m. an adult
female reported that her husband had made threats toward her. The husband was
reported to be out of the country at the time of the report. The threats were
not sufficient at the time to rise to the level of a criminal offense but were
documented for future reference.
3/29 - Recover Stolen Vehicle (other agency) - 1300 block of Gilman Road: At
4:48 a.m. officers responded to a stolen vehicle recovery. Employees of a
business had found the vehicle, a 1997 Ford truck, abandoned on the business
property. The truck had been reported stolen from Forest Hill. The owner
responded to take possession of the truck. Security video showed the vehicle being
driven onto the property at approximately 4:05 a.m. and a male exited, leaving
the area on foot.
3/29 - Sexual Assault Child Forcible Rape - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At
10:00 a.m. a school resource officer received a report of a juvenile female
being forced to perform a sexual act. A report was generated and sent to
investigators for follow-up.
3/29 - Burglary of Vehicle - 200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 7:36
p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) broke the driver side window of
her vehicle, removing her purse and contents. The purse contained
identification, credits cards, and cash. It had been left in the floorboard of
the vehicle.
3/30 - Missing Person
(Juvenile) - 300 block of Arthur Drive: At 8:39 p.m. an adult female reported
that her 15 year old son had not arrived home that day. He was last seen by the
female at 2:00 p.m. that day when he told her he was walking home from a local
school.
