Police Reports

4/1 — Recovered Stolen Vehicle (Other Agency)
1400 block of Gilman Road
At 3:05 p.m. officers responded to a report of a possible stolen vehicle. A male complainant stated that a vehicle had been parked and left on his property, and he believed it could be stolen. The male could not provide a reason why he thought the vehicle was stolen other than it was abandoned. A computer check verified that the vehicle was stolen out of Cleburne. An Auto Theft Task Force investigator responded to take charge of the case and had the vehicle impounded at the task force lot. The complainant was also found to have multiple active arrest warrants out of several cities. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking. 

4/1 — Theft $100 to $750
200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:35 p.m. officers received a report of a stolen cell phone. The victim stated that the phone may have been taken by one of two males who were in the business at the time it disappeared. 

4/1 — Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence)
900 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 5:13 a.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. A homeless male and female had gotten into an argument when it became physical. Both parties admitted to shoving the other. The male stated that he was going to a residence in Forest Hill to stay and was allowed to leave. No charges were filed as there was no primary aggressor.

4/1 — Recovered Stolen Vehicle (Other Agency)
6700 block of Oak Crest Drive E.
At 2:16 p.m. an officer responded to a recovered stolen vehicle. A recovery firm reported that they had repossessed a 2016 Mercedes that was showing as stolen out of Fort Worth. The vehicle was confirmed as recovered and removed from the system. Fort Worth police were notified.

4/3 — Public Intoxication
800 block of Sublett Road
At 1:49 a.m. officers responded to an intoxicated person. An adult female was discovered walking on Little School Road and was detained for investigation. It was discovered that she was disorderly as well as intoxicated and was deemed to be a danger to herself and others. The female was placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking. 

4/2 — Assault Bodily Injury
900 block of Wildcat Way
At 2:00 p.m. a school resource officer responded to the high school administrative offices. A father and daughter had been involved in an ongoing incident with other students and the father was withdrawing his daughter from school. During this time the two male students appeared at the office and there was a confrontation. During the confrontation the female student struck one of the other students several times with a closed fist. A case for assault has been referred to the juvenile justice center on the female.

4/3 — Assault by Contact
200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 10:40 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A female victim stated that she had been in an argument with her ex-boyfriend, who was not on the scene. The victim denied an assault occurred and refused to speak any further to officers. No charges were filed. 

4/4 — Robbery
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 2:18 a.m. officers responded to an assault complaint. A female victim reported that she had met her ex-boyfriend at the business to return some property to him. During the conversation the suspect became agitated and struck the female, taking her cell phone as he left. Officers were able to contact the suspect by phone but he refused to return to the scene. The suspect has an active arrest warrant for burglary out of Dallas County. Video confirmed the victim’s account of what happened. The case is under investigation. 

4/4 — Terroristic Threat
900 block of Wildcat Way
At 9:00 a.m. a school resource officer responded to a report of a student threatening violence at the high school. A male student was reported to have made a number of threats over the current school year about committing an act of violence at the school. The student admitted to making the statements and was removed from school by the administrative staff. A Terroristic Threat charge was referred to the juvenile justice center.

4/4 — Possession Control Substance
900 block of Wildcat Way
At 2:40 p.m. a school resource officer received a report from school staff that a male student was found to be in possession of a vaping device with a liquid THC solution. The SRO will follow-up with the justice center. The contraband was placed in evidence. 

4/4 — Noise Complaint
6700 block of Hudson Village Creek Road
At 7:29 p.m. officers made contact with a citizen complaining about noise from the Kennedale Speedway Park. The complainant wanted to file a charge for violation of the city’s noise ordinance. She completed a statement and a citation was issued. 

4/5 — Criminal Mischief $750 to $2500
100 block of Peachtree Court
At 6:34 p.m. a victim reported that on the previous day a female juvenile had knocked on her door. The female stated that she had accidentally been pushed into the victim’s vehicle, causing a dent. The victim got an estimate on repairing the damage and attempted to contact the juvenile at the address and phone number given. The juvenile could not be located. The case is still under investigation. 

4/5 — Abandoned/Found Property
200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 7:51 p.m. a complainant reported finding two key fobs with a yellow shop tag attached. The fobs were in the grass near a dumpster that the complainant uses. 

4/6 — Theft Under $100
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:27 p.m. officers responded to a theft. The suspect was being detained by Fort Worth officers who had been on the scene fueling their patrol unit. The suspect, a female, had entered the business and removed two 18-pack cases of beer. The store manager observed the Fort Worth officers at the gas pump and ran outside to report the theft. They detained the suspect at that time. The suspect was cited for the theft and was given a criminal trespass warning to not return to the property.
