4/21 - Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 - 700 block of Woodland Court: At
9:37 p.m. an officer responded to a criminal mischief complaint. A victim
reported that he had parked his vehicle, a white Ford 500, in the driveway at
4:00 p.m. on the 21st. At 9:00 p.m. he found the driver side window
broken when he attempted to drive the vehicle again. Nothing was missing from
inside the vehicle. It appeared that entry was attempted but not accomplished.
4/21 - Criminal Mischief Under $100 - 500 block of North Road: At 10:18
p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male suspect was detained
for breaking out a rear window of a tan 1999 Oldsmobile. A male and female were
present at the time that the offense occurred. The suspect came to the location
and observed the female with the victim male at his (suspect’s) residence. He
became angry and threw a rock through the rear window of the male victim’s
vehicle.
4/22 - Application for Mental Detention and Observation - 500 block of
Sublett Road: At 8:23 a.m. officers responded to a report of an emotionally
disturbed male armed with a large knife. The subject was located and officers
made contact. He did have a large knife in the side pocket of a back pack. The
male’s behavior and speech were erratic and he appeared to be having a mental episode
of some type. The male told officers that he was bipolar and suffered from
schizophrenia. The male was detained for his safety and transported to JPS for
an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
4/22 - Criminal Mischief (Substantial Inconvenience) - 400 block of Corry
A. Edwards Drive: At 4:55 p.m. an officer responded to a criminal mischief
complaint. A complainant stated that his neighbor was trespassing on to his
(the complainant’s) property to dig drainage trenches. The complainant stated
that he has asked the neighbor not to enter the property to dig trenches. Upon
contacting the neighbor, the officer was informed that the developer for both
homes had dug the trenched to allow for drainage run off. The neighbor stated
that the complainant kept filling in the trenches and causing flooding on his property.
The neighbor was advised that he could not enter the other property.
4/22 - Fail to Identify (Fugitive from Justice) - 700 block of E. Kennedale
Parkway: At 9:31 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. As officers
arrived a vehicle was observed leaving the residence. The vehicle was stopped
and the two male occupants were identified. The passenger identified himself
verbally as he had no identification on him. Further investigation proved that
the passenger was in fact part of the domestic disturbance. He admitted to
lying about his identity due to his having a felony arrest warrant issued for
him. The warrant was confirmed and he was placed under arrest. He was also
charged with Failure to Identify (Fugitive). There was no assault that occurred
during the domestic so no charges were filed. He was transported to jail for
booking.
4/23 - Indecency w/ Child - 900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 6:20
p.m. an officer received a report of uninvited sexual contact between two
students at the junior high school. The suspect was listed as a juvenile female
and the victim a juvenile male.
4/24 - Burglary - 500 block of North Road: At 5:31 p.m. a victim reported
that unknown person(s) had entered her residence without permission. The victim
reported that the front door was not secured fully and this is how entry was
made. The suspect(s) removed several items valued at $349.00
4/26 - Possession Control Substance, Possession Marijuana - 1200 block of
W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:00 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment
violation. As the vehicle was coming to a stop dispatch advised that the
license plate on the vehicle, a red Ford F250, was reported stolen out of
Arlington. The adult female driver and her adult male passenger were removed from
the vehicle and secured. The license was confirmed as stolen but the truck was
clear. The female was found to be in possession of marijuana and cocaine. She
also had arrest warrants out of four cities. The female was transported to jail
for booking.
4/26 - Burglary - 300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:03 a.m. officers
responded to a burglar alarm at a business. Officers found the rear door had
been forced open. A business representative responded to inspect the premises. Security
video showed the suspect entering through the rear door and removing items from
the stock. An inventory will be needed to tell what was taken.
