5/13 — Theft $2,500 to $30,000
800 block of Sublett Road
At 8:15 a.m. a victim reported that a trailer was stolen from a company storage lot. The theft was captured on security video and showed that the theft occurred two days earlier. The trailer was entered into the stolen vehicle database. 

5/13 — Incident (Other)
400 block of Municipal Drive
At 11:00 a.m. an officer received a report from a Fort Worth police officer about a social media post from a resident in Kennedale. The post was an ad stating that a baby was for sale. After receiving the report Kennedale detectives followed up on the report and contacted the person who posted the ad. Detectives discovered that it was a misprint and that the ad was actually for baby a farm animal for sale.

5/13 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive
At 12:00 p.m. a school resource officer was called to assist in dealing with an emotionally disturbed juvenile male at the junior high school. The male was making threats against other students and stated that he would kill himself after carrying out his threats. The student was taken into custody and transported to Cook Children’s Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.

5/14 — Theft Under $100
800 block of Sublett Road
At 5:01 p.m. a victim contacted police about a theft. The victim reported that several suspects had been observed removing construction supplies from the business yard. The victim told the suspects to put the items back. After dropping the items the suspects left but it was later discovered that they had left with some supplies that were already loaded before being observed. The theft was captured on security video.

5/13 — Possession Control Substance
100 block of Briarwood Road
At 7:54 p.m. officers responded to a reckless driver that had struck a stop sign. On arrival officers discovered a black Chevrolet Trailblazer stopped next to the damaged sign. An adult female was observed in the driver seat. The female was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment and was arrested for DWI. The female was also in possession of prescription medication not prescribed to her. She was transported to jail for booking and a voluntary blood draw. The narcotics were placed in evidence along with the blood. 

5/13 — Missing Person (Adult)
1100 block of Swiney Hiett Road
At 6:44 p.m. an adult female reported that her adult daughter had been missing since the day before. The mother stated that she had not been able to contact her daughter via cell phone. A missing person report was taken after determining that the missing female’s phone was located in Irving at a shopping plaza. At 8:43 p.m. the officer was notified that the missing female had been located in Irving. 

5/14 — Possession Control Substance
1000 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 6:43 p.m. an officer responded to a burglary call. A company employee reported seeing a male jump a security fence around company property. The male was located inside the fence and was secured pending further investigation. The company owner was contacted and stated that he knew the male. He also stated that the male was barred from being on the property. The male was placed under arrest for the trespass and was searched incident to arrest, and prior to transport and entering the jail. The male was found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. The narcotics were entered into evidence. 

5/16 — Abandoned Vehicle
100 block of Oakwood Lane
At 11:14 p.m. an officer responded to an abandoned vehicle call. The vehicle, a silver motorcycle, had been sitting at the curb in a residential area for a month. The owner could not be contacted. The vehicle was impounded for safekeeping until the owner can be found. 

5/17 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
500 block of North Road
At 12:51 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An adult female was waiting on the officers outside of the residence. An adult male resident of the home was inside and was hitting the walls and screaming. The male was upset about an issue with his girlfriend. He admitted to using multiple narcotics over the last few days. The male was taken into custody and transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental evaluation. 

5/17 — Burglary of Vehicle
200 block of Valley Lane
At 1:33 a.m. officers responded to a vehicle burglary in progress. A female suspect was located on the property but a second suspect fled on foot before other officers could arrive. After further investigation, the only identifiable victim did not want to press charges. The female was released pending further investigation.

5/17 — Hit and Run Accident
4000 block of Eden Road
At 4:15 p.m. a victim reported that she was struck by another vehicle that left the scene. The victim reported that she slowed for an oncoming vehicle when a red pickup truck struck her vehicle’s rear bumper. The truck then drove away without stopping. 

5/18 — Theft-Property $100 to $750
100 block of E. Kennedale Parkway
At 5:36 p.m. a victim reported that an employee of his business had taken several hundred dollars from the business. The employee was contacted and told to return the money and business keys, which he failed to do.
