11/17 — Drugs/ Narcotics
800 block of E. Kennedale Parkway
At 6:32 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The interior of the vehicle smelled of marijuana. The adult male driver advised that he had smoked marijuana earlier in the day. During the traffic stop, officers located marijuana inside of the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for the marijuana and was transported to jail for booking.
11/17 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
100 block of Pine Meadow Drive
At 8:10 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Two males were located who were in a physical altercation. Upon investigation, one of the males was attempting to restrain the other in order to prevent him from harming himself. Earlier in the evening the second male had been in possession of a shotgun and threatened to shoot himself. He made statements to the officers that confirmed this. He was placed in custody for transport to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
11/17 — Possession Drug Paraphernalia
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 2:04 a.m. officers responded to a suspicious person at a business. A female was located at the business, standing in the parking lot. The female was acting erratically and advised that she had been dropped off earlier in Forest Hill. She was found to be in possession of a crack pipe. After being issued a citation for the paraphernalia, she was transported to a location in Fort Worth. The female was also given a criminal trespass warning for the business.
11/19 — Assault (Public Servant)
900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive
At 12:15 p.m. a school resource officer responded to a disturbance in the junior high school cafeteria. Two females, who are sisters, were assaulting a male student when a staff member attempted to step in and stop the altercation. One of the females struck the staff member's meal tray, causing it to hit her in the face. Both sisters were suspended and released to a parent.
11/19 — Theft $750 to $2,500
400 block of Municipal Drive
At 5:28 p.m. an officer responded to a theft report. A victim reported that he was working on his mower in the front yard of a residence. He went inside of the residence and on his return found the mower missing.
11/19 — Burglary
700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:24 p.m. an officer responded to a burglary report. A male victim reported that his residence was entered by unknown person(s). A television and electronics were taken. A witness reported seeing a male in a two-tone SUV removing items from the home earlier that day. The victim stated that the description sounded like a family member. The case is still under investigation.

At 10:00 a.m. an officer found a baggie of what appeared to be marijuana on school grounds. The item was placed in evidence.
11/20 — Assault (Bodily Injury)

At 5:37 p.m. a complaint was filed with police on an assault that occurred in school earlier in the day. The victim, a juvenile male, reported being assaulted by another male in the hallway of the high school. The fight was broken up by a teacher but the victim required stitches for a cut above his eye.

600 block of E. Kennedale Parkway
At 12:50 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle for speeding. The vehicle passenger was found to possess methamphetamine residue, scales used for weighing narcotics, and two syringes. The male passenger was cited for the contraband.

At 12:50 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle for speeding. The vehicle passenger was found to possess methamphetamine residue, scales used for weighing narcotics, and two syringes. The male passenger was cited for the contraband. The driver was found to be in possession of a white powder that tested positive for heroin. He was arrested for the narcotics.

At 12:35 p.m. a victim reported that a known suspect removed $450 from her while she was at home.
11/19 — Incident
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 12:50 p.m. an officer responded to a gas theft in progress. On arrival, one of the vehicles was still in the area and was stopped by the officer. The vehicle did not appear to be involved as the fuel gauge read almost empty. The business reported that $56 worth of fuel was taken. Two more vehicles had fled the scene before officers arrived.
11/23 — Burglary of Vehicle

At 11:06 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) smashed the driver’s side window of his vehicle. The suspect(s) removed cash that was left on the passenger seat.
11/23 — Incident
1000 block of Belmont Drive
At 10:12 a.m. officers responded to a complaint of underage drinking at a party. Initial officers on scene reported smelling alcoholic beverages from the general area of the residence. By the time entry was made into the residence no alcohol was found but it was reported that some of the attendees may have been drinking at another location before coming to the party. Parents were contacted to pick up juveniles who were on site.
