Mayor’s Declaration of Public Health Emergency and Special City Council Meeting*
Friday, March 20, Mayor Brian Johnson enacted a Declaration of Public Health Emergency for the City of Kennedale, effective at 12:01 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020. View this document and the attached "Recommendations for Mitigating the Spread of COVID-19" at cityofkennedale.com/mayordeclaration.

The City Council will hold a special meeting via teleconference at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2020, to consider, among other items, the extension of this amended declaration. Members of the public can join the meeting by calling 1-877-568-4106 (toll-free) and entering access code 162-956-797. The agenda and packet are published at cityofkennedale.com/agendas.
KPD Social Distancing Efforts
In an effort to minimize the potential of virus exposure for our officers and the community that we serve, dispatch is currently screening non-emergency calls to determine if a report can be completed over the phone. As a reminder, anytime you wish to speak with an officer or report a non-emergency incident (including animal control issues), please call dispatch at 817-478-5416. This call may be answered as if you had called 9-1-1. Please do not hang up.
