At 3:56 a.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival at the location, an outside ATM was found to be damaged due to unknown suspect(s) attempting unsuccessfully to pull the machine out of its moorings.
7/7 — Aggravated Assault (Weapon)
100 block of Peachtree Court
At 3:45 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. As officers arrived the male suspect in the assault was leaving the area. As officers attempted to stop him, he fled. The vehicle was stopped in a neighborhood off of Wildcat Way in Arlington. The suspect fled on foot and hid in a back yard where he was found a short time later. The male was intoxicated and was taken into custody. It was determined that he had physically assaulted a female victim at the residence and at one point threw a knife at the victim. The victim exhibited injuries consistent with her account of the assault. The suspect was booked into jail for the assault.
7/7 — Abandoned/Found Property
500 block of North Road
At 12:40 p.m. an officer responded to a report of found property. A resident had found a BB gun abandoned in a vacant lot. The gun was placed in property until the owner can be located.

At 9:40 a.m. a father reported that his son was had runaway from home.
7/7 — Incident
1300 block of Mountain View Lane
At 3:56 p.m. officers served a Directive to Apprehend issued by a juvenile court judge. The suspect was located and taken into custody for transport to the Juvenile Detention Center.
7/7 — Assault by Contact (Family Violence)
100 block of Oakwood Lane
At 11:03 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A mother and adult son had been in a verbal argument when it became physical. The mother was transported to a hospital for treatment. The son left the residence to spend the night in another city. The investigation is still open.
7/9 — Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence)
300 block of Creekwood Court
At 9:44 p.m. officers responded to a person with a gun call. On arrival it was determined that a mother had assaulted her son during an argument, causing injury to his lip. The mother was arrested for the family violence assault and transported to jail.
7/9 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
300 block of Creekwood Court
During a family violence investigation family members reported that a male who had been assaulted had threatened to commit suicide as soon as officers left the scene. The male had access to an unloaded rifle. Officers determined that the male needed to be transported to JPS Hospital on an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
