8/09 — Theft $50 to $500
300 block of Arthur Drive
At 3:31 p.m. a victim reported that a known female suspect sold a bicycle that belonged to him. The victim did not give permission to the suspect to dispose of the property.

8/10 — Burglary
500 block of North Road
At 8:22 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) entered his unsecured residence and removed two watches along with some CBD oil. 

8/11 — Hit and Run Accident
1100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:32 p.m. a victim reported that her gray 2017 GMC pick-up truck was struck by another vehicle while in traffic. The vehicle was described as a newer model Chevrolet truck with dark-tinted windows. The vehicle fled east on the I-20 service road after the accident. 

8/13 — Abandoned Vehicle
300 block of Daleview Drive
At 3:59 p.m. an officer towed an abandoned vehicle from a residential area. The license plate on the vehicle, a silver Toyota, returned to a Ford truck. The vehicle was impounded to be held for further investigation. 

8/14 — Criminal Mischief $100 to $750
6300 block of Tealcove Drive
At 4:27 p.m. a victim reported to police that unknown person(s) had damaged his vehicle using a screwdriver. 

8/14 — Assault Bodily Injury
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 8:16 p.m. an officer received a report of a possible assault against an elderly male. The suspect and male, who were not acquainted, were in an argument when the suspect punched the victim. This caused the victim to fall to the pavement, hitting his head. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to jail for booking. This call was originally filed as Injury to the Elderly but further investigation indicated the victim did not fit the criteria. 

8/15 — Theft $2,500 to $30,000
100 block of Peachtree Court
At 11:23 a.m. a victim reported that his vehicle, a green 2008 Ford Escape, was stolen on August 14, 2020. 

8/15 — Burglary
200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 8:48 a.m. a store manager discovered that unknown person(s) threw a rock through the front door glass. A cash register was removed from the location. 

8/15 — Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence)
100 block of Oak Ridge Trail
At 12:00 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. An 18-year-old male suspect had been in an argument with his father, the victim, when the suspect struck the father. The suspect was arrested for family violence and transported to jail for booking.
