10/25 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
100 block of Short Street
At 10:35 a.m. officers responded to a call from Tarrant County MHMR regarding an emotionally disturbed female. The female was reported to be threatening to harm herself. When contacted by the officers, it was confirmed that the female was intent on harming herself. She was transported to JPS Hospital on an emergency mental detention and evaluation. 

10/26 — Public Intoxication
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 5:35 p.m. an officer was contacted by a business employee regarding a male asleep in a restroom. The male was asleep and officers had difficulty awakening him. He exhibited signs of severe intoxication and was arrested. The male was transported to jail for booking. 

10/26 — Burglary of Vehicle
300 block of S. New Hope Road
At 5:18 p.m. a victim reported to police that unknown person(s) entered his unsecured vehicle and removed personal property. 

10/27 — Death Investigation
1400 block of Derby Drive
At 9:09 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting. On arrival an adult female with a gunshot wound was located in the residence. The female was transported to JPS Hospital for surgery by paramedics. The victim died after arriving at the hospital. The death was later found to have been self-inflicted.

10/29 — Assault (Family Violence)
300 block of Bowles Court
At 8:17 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A father and son were fighting in the backyard of the residence. The son fled before officers arrived. 

10/29 — Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Info
1100 block of Parkview Trail
At 5:06 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had obtained her identifying information and had used it to commit theft by check. 

10/29 — Missing Person (Juvenile)
900 block of Wildcat Way
At 4:30 p.m. an officer received a report of a missing juvenile male. The male was located at 8:00 p.m. when he called a care giver to be picked up in Fort Worth.

10/30 — Theft $750 to $2,500
6900 block of E. Kennedale Parkway
At 9:48 a.m. a victim reported the theft of a rental trailer from his business.

10/30 — Social Media Threats
400 block of Municipal Drive
At 3:00 p.m. the Police Department received a report of a possible threat against a Kennedale police officer on social media. The last name in the post was similar to the officer’s. It was later discovered that the threat was made toward an officer in another state who had been involved in a high profile shooting. 

10/30 — Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Info
100 block of Bell Oaks Drive
At 4:51 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had used his identity to apply for unemployment benefits. The victim reported that he is employed full-time and doesn’t know who could have used his identity.
