300 block of Pennsylvanian Avenue
On this date, a resident reported suspicious behavior captured on his home security video. After reviewing the footage officers concluded that although the behavior was suspicious no criminal offense had occurred.
3/14 — Burglary of Vehicle
100 block of Peachtree Court
At 2:41 p.m. a victim reported to officers that her vehicle was burglarized. Unknown person(s) removed both catalytic convertors as well as personal items left inside the vehicle. The burglary occurred during the overnight hours.
3/16 — Assault Bodily Injury
700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:25 p.m. an officer was investigating a reported assault. After determining that the original assault did not occur, the reporting person showed the officer a video of a second incident that occurred on the same day. A known suspect assaulted the victim by forcefully pushing him to the ground with no provocation.
3/16 — Incident (Other)
600 block of W. Division St. (Arlington)
At 6:16 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Arlington City Jail for a prisoner transport. A prisoner was being held on Kennedale warrants. The prisoner was transported to the Mansfield jail per policy.
3/17 — Indecency w/ Child (Sexual Contact)
300 block of Pennsylvanian Avenue
At 3:06 p.m. an officer was contacted by CPS to open an investigation into improper sexual contact with an underage child.
3/18 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
1300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 12:17 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a female on top of a tower, which turned out to be false. The reporting person, a male, reported that a female was behind a business and needed assistance. The female having a mental episode was located nearby. The female was deemed to be a danger to herself or others. She was transported to JPS for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
3/18 — Death Investigation
100 block of Briarwood Road
At 3:59 p.m. officers responded with the Fire Department to a reported cardiac arrest. An adult male was located in a bathtub inside the residence. The male was determined to be deceased. The investigation is still open.
3/19 — Incident (Other)
400 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road
At 1:11 p.m. officers responded to a welfare check. An adult female, known to officers through many previous contacts, was having a mental health episode. The female was checked by medics but did not present a danger to herself or anyone else. The female was checked by medics. A report was submitted to Adult Protective Services to obtain assistance for the female.
3/19 — Drugs/Narcotics
800 block of N. Dick Price Road
At 7:28 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The adult male driver verbally identified himself as he stated had no driver’s license. The name and date of birth revealed multiple warrants from Kennedale and Fort Worth. The male then stated that he had given his brother’s name. After giving a second name and date of birth the male was found to have multiple warrants from Grand Prairie and Duncanville. During the subsequent interview and search, officers discovered Hydrocodone, heroin, and marijuana in the vehicle. The male was placed under arrest for the warrants and narcotics. He was transported to jail for booking.
