At 7:46 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) had kicked open the front door to her residence. Nothing was missing at the time of the report.
3/31 — Hit and Run Accident
100 block of S. New Hope Road
At 2:37 p.m. a victim reported that her vehicle was struck by another vehicle while the victim was stopped at a stop sign. The suspect left without stopping.
4/01 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
200 block of Pine Meadows Drive
At 10:06 p.m. officers responded to a report of a female threatening to harm herself. Officers located an unconscious female in the bathroom. The female had attempted to harm herself by cutting her arm. An officer used a towel to apply pressure to the wounds until the Fire Department arrived. The female was transported to JPS Hospital for treatment and emergency mental detention and evaluation.
4/02 — Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Info
1000 block of Oak Hill Park
At 12:43 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown person had filed for unemployment benefits using the victim’s identity. The claim was denied as the victim is currently employed.
4/02 — Discharge Firearm in City Limits
400 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 3:30 p.m. an officer responded to a complaint of a person shooting a skunk. The complainants stated that they observed a male at a nearby business use a firearm to shoot a trapped skunk. The suspect was located at the business and was charged with the violation.
4/02 — Animal Bite
500 block of Susan Drive
At 5:12 p.m. a victim reported being bitten by a loose dog. The animal was located by officers.
4/02 — Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Info
1200 block of Wendy Court
At 1:52 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown person had filed for unemployment benefits using the victim’s identity. The claim was denied as the victim is currently employed.
4/03 — Possession Drug Paraphernalia
1100 block of Kennedale Sublett Road
At 4:10 p.m. officers were asked to investigate a complaint of narcotics found in an abandoned vehicle in Arlington. The registered owner of the vehicle lives in Kennedale. While investigating the complaint an officer observed narcotics paraphernalia in plain view. The resident was charged with the offense.
4/03 — Sexual Assault of Child (Contact)
300 block of Spring Branch Lane
At 7:25 p.m. an officer received a report of sexual assault of a child. The child had made an outcry to a family member, listing another family member as the suspect.
