4/18 — Driving While Intoxicated
1300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 6:37 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an intoxicated driver at a business. The driver, an adult female, was stopped in a drive-thru lane, refusing to move. An open container of alcohol was located in the center console. The female refused to place the vehicle in park and drove away from the officer, stopping in the business parking area next door. The officer was able to secure the vehicle in order to have the female exit. She was unable to stand on her own and had extremely slurred speech that was incoherent at times. The female was unable to attempt a field sobriety assessment. After being arrested, the female was transported to jail for booking. A blood draw warrant was requested through the Fort Worth magistrate’s office. 

4/18 — Theft $2,500 to $30,000
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 9:00 p.m. a victim reported the theft of his vehicle, a 2014 Nissan Altima. The victim left the vehicle running while he went into a convenience store. The vehicle was taken by three suspects, according to the security video recording. 

4/18 — Driving While Intoxicated
1200 block of Mansfield Cardinal Road
At 9:24 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The adult male driver exhibited signs of intoxication. The officer observed an open container of vodka on the front passenger seat. The driver was unable to successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. The male was placed under arrest for transport to jail. A voluntary blood draw was obtained at a local hospital on the way to jail.

4/19 — Burglary of Vehicle
200 block of E. Mistletoe Drive
At 1:55 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) broke the rear windshield out of his vehicle and removed an iPad.

4/21 — Drugs/Narcotics
100 block of Short Street
At 10:57 p.m. an officer responded to a report of an unconscious male in a vehicle. The vehicle was located with a male slumped over the center console. The officer awakened the male, who sat up revealing an open eyeglass case containing methamphetamine. The male was also in possession of heroin and several prescription pills. He was placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking.

4/23 — Assault by Contact
1100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 7:05 p.m. an officer responded to a general disturbance. An employee reported that an unknown female suspect had squeezed a water bottle onto her person and her clothing. The incident occurred at the drive-thru window of the business. 

4/24 — Discharge Firearm in City Limits
1200 block of N. Little School Road
At 11:00 p.m. officers responded to a shots-fired call. Witnesses reported seeing two males in a parking area fire several shots from a handgun into the air. The suspects left the location before officers arrived.
