1400 block of Gilman Road
At 4:52 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of a roadway. The vehicle displayed a rear paper tag that was reported stolen out of Grapevine, Texas. The vehicle was not stolen and no owner could be located. The stolen tag was seized and placed in evidence.
4/27 — Found Property
900 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive
At 11:18 a.m. an officer received a license plate that had been found on the side of a roadway. The plate was placed in property to be held until an owner can be located.
4/27 — Application for Mental Detention and Observation
1200 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 4:41 a.m. officers responded to a general disturbance. A female was inside of a business restroom and refusing to leave. The female was located and determined to be having a mental episode. She was taken to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention and evaluation.
4/28 — Assist Agency - Arlington PD
200 block of Chateau Avenue
At 8:13 p.m. officers responded to a gunshot victim. On arrival officers discovered a male with a gunshot wound to the neck. It was determined that victim had been in an altercation in Arlington when he was shot and drove to the Kennedale neighborhood to get away. Kennedale paramedics transported the victim to JPS Hospital for treatment. Arlington police arrived and took possession of the scene.
4/29 — Unlawful Carrying a Weapon
100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 9:08 a.m. an officer discovered that an adult male had carried edged weapons into a prohibited area. The weapons were seized and the male arrested for the offense.
4/29 — Theft $2,500 to $30,000
4300 block of S. Eden Road
At 6:47 p.m. a victim reported that a trailer was stolen from his business by unknown person(s).
4/29 — Hit and Run Accident
1300 block of W. Kennedale Parkway
At 6:06 p.m. a victim reported a hit and run accident. The victim was following the suspect when both vehicles stopped at a parking area on New Hope Road. Officers arrived and identified the hit-and-run driver. He was charged with the offense.
5/01 — Criminal Mischief $750 to $2,500
4300 block of S. Eden Road
At 5:30 p.m. a victim reported to officers that unknown person(s) had damaged the door to his business while trying to gain entry.
