01/28 - Disorderly Conduct (Display/Discharge a Firearm) - 6700 block of Lindale Road: On this date officers were dispatched to a report of gunshots. On the officers arrival, the complainant stated that she had heard a gunshot from the property across the street. She had observed two females on the property at the time of the shots. Officers contacted a female who was working on the property. The female told the officers that the shot was fired by a second female who had left the premises. A check of the first female revealed a felony warrant out of Fort Worth. She was arrested and transported to municipal jail for booking. The second female was not located.

01/28 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 1:30 p.m. an officer took a report of a rented U-Haul truck that had not been returned per the rental agreement. The complainant had identifying information on the person who rented the truck. It was entered in the national database as stolen.

01/28 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 4800 block of U.S. 287: At 9:39 p.m. an officer observed a U-haul truck being driven in the Walmart parking lot on Little School Road at U.S. 287. A check of the license plate indicated that the truck was the same one reported stolen out of Kennedale. There were two occupants in the vehicle and both were detained. A drivers license for a third person, the male who had rented the vehicle, was found in the truck. The driver was arrested and transported to municipal jail for booking. The passenger was released at the scene. The vehicle was recovered for return to the owner.

01/29 - Assault (Bodily Injury) - 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 12:09 p.m. a school resource officer responded to a report of an assault at the Kennedale High School. Upon arrival he met with faculty and the victim, a 15 year old female. The officer was informed that the suspect, an 18 year old male, shoved the victim into a campus table fixture, causing bodily injury and pain. The event was recorded on the campus video system. The suspect, who was being detained by campus security, was arrested by the officer and transported to the municipal jail.

01/29 - Criminal Trespass - 1400 block of J.R. Hawkins Road: At 10:51 p.m. officers responded to a report of an attempted theft. The reporting person, a neighbor, stated that a maroon SUV had entered the property without authorization. When confronted by the reporting person, the vehicle and one occupant fled, leaving a second occupant on the scene. The second occupant fled on foot toward Swiney Hiett Road and was not located.

01/30 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 1000 block of Bowman Springs: At 2:11 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a trailer theft. The complainant reported that a box trailer valued at $2400 was removed from the property sometime during the five day period of January 23 to January 28, 2013. The trailer has a logo for the Fellowship Academy on both sides. The trailer was entered into the national database as stolen.

01/31 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 800 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:54 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a theft of property. The complainant reported that person(s) unknown had entered a storage trailer on the property and removed a Honda tiller valued at $2,100.

01/31 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 100 block of Peachtree Court: At 9:51 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a vehicle theft. On arrival, the officer was informed by the complainant that her vehicle was taken by a friend that had dropped by her residence earlier. The vehicle was described as a white Kia Sedona minivan. The officer's attempts to contact the friend by cell phone were unsuccessful. The vehicle was entered as stolen.

02/01 - Theft $1,500 to $20,000 - 6300 block of Tealcove Drive: At 9:12 p.m. an officer responded to a reported stolen vehicle. The complainant stated that he heard his vehicle start at approximately 9:00 p.m. and he found that it was missing form the parking lot of his apartment. There was broken glass on the pavement. The vehicle, a red GMC pick-up, was entered as stolen.

02/02 - Theft $500 to $1,500 - 6300 block of Tealpond Drive: At 9:54 a.m. an officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. This was the second vehicle reported stolen from this location in two days. The complainant stated that his GMC pick-up had been removed over night. Further investigation by the officer revealed that this vehicle as well as the one from the previous day had both been recovered at a residence in Everman.
