02/17 - Minor in Possession (Alcohol) - 900 block of Little Road: At 12:04 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The 18 year old female driver was in possession of a partially consumed bottle of an alcoholic beverage. She was cited for the violation. Her passenger, a 21 year old male, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Probation Violation out of Tarrant County. He was transported to the municipal jail for booking.

02/17 - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 5000 block of Little School Road: At 6:02 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer could smell the odor of marijuana. While interviewing the 31 year old driver, the officer discovered the presence of a small amount of marijuana, a pipe, and scales used to weigh narcotics. The driver was cited for the items and released. The items were booked into evidence.

02/18 - Assault by Contact - 1000 block of Chandler Ct.: At 12:26 p.m. an officer responded to a disturbance. On arrival the victim, an 18 year old female, stated that her mother's 46 year old boyfriend had grabbed her arms and then shoved her into a bathroom of the home. The altercation was a disagreement between the two on getting the bathroom cleaned up. The male was cited for assault by contact.

02/18 - Assault Bodily Injury (Family Member) - 700 block of Lakewood Drive: At 9:41 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival officers contacted a 50 year old male and his 48 year old wife. The two had been in an argument that became physical when the male struck the female several times. The female had several marks indicating that she had been struck. The male was arrested for assault of a family member and transported to municipal jail for booking.

02/19 - Criminal Mischief $50 to $500 - 100 block of Pine Meadows: At 10:09 a.m. officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief in progress. On arrival officers met with the complainant who stated that her neighbor's car headlight had been damaged by another neighbor, who was walking her dogs in the street. The suspect neighbor denied damaging the vehicle and the complainant did not actually see the damage as it occurred. The complainant stated that the suspect had visited her home and left. It was right after this that the headlight was found damaged. The vehicle owner came home during the call and estimated the damage to the light at $70.00.

02/19 - Burglary of a Building - 800 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 11:02 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a burglary complaint. On arrival the officer met with the 57 year old victim, who stated that his storage unit at Kennedale Self Storage had been broken into. The suspect(s) removed $500 worth of tools.

02/20 - Credit/Debit Card Abuse - 1200 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 3:33 p.m. an officer took a telephone report from a 61 year old victim in Connecticut. The victim stated that while visiting Fort Worth in February of 2013 his wallet had been stolen. He advised that someone had tried to use his credit card at the QT on Kennedale Parkway and at the Murphy Oil store on Little School Road. In both cases the card was declined. A report was taken documenting the attempt usage of the card.

02/20 - Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 700 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 9:31 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle parked in front of the Sack N Snack store. The male drive and female passenger exited the vehicle and entered the store. Upon running the vehicle's license plate, the officer discovered the vehicle to be stolen out of North Richland Hills. The female came out of the store heading to the car but re-entered upon seeing the officer. A few moments later the male exited the store and walked away toward Valley Lane. Both he and the female were detained at that time. The male denied being in the car when first detained but later admitted to being in the car after the female told officers the car belonged to her parents. The two had taken the car and had been "scrapping" at one of the metal salvage dealers. They had then gone to the store to play "the games." Officers located narcotics paraphernalia in the vehicle as well as tools and clothing. The 22 year old female had outstanding warrants from Haltom City PD and was arrested. The male was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Both were transported to municipal jail for booking.

02/21 - Assault by Contact - 1200 block of Wendy Court: At 12:11 a.m. an officer responded to a 911 call. Upon arrival, a 45 year old male stated that he had had an altercation with his 20 year old son. The two had quarreled over the son's behavior and the son became enraged, pushing the father. The son was charged with assault by contact.

02/22 - Wanted Person - 100 block of Kennedale Parkway: At 2:37 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The 71 year old driver stated he had no identification on him and gave a name/date of birth that turned out to be false. A warrant check with Mansfield PD revealed the driver's correct name and date of birth. A Mansfield officer responded and positively identified the driver. He had outstanding warrants from Mansfield PD as well as a parole revocation warrant from Tarrant County. The driver had recently suffered a stroke and needed to use a walker. The driver was arrested and transported directly to the Tarrant County jail for booking as they have an on-site medical facility
