Active Warrants
Municipal Court maintains a complete listing of active warrants. An arrest warrant will remain active until all fines and fees have been paid or a bond has been posted.
We encourage you to come into our office to discuss your warrants. This will not result in your arrest.
Alias Warrant:
*Notice: Each violation has a $50.00 fee added if it goes into warrant status.
An Alias warrant is when the defendant fails to make an appearance. Either by not taking care of the original class C citation or by not appearing at Court as promised.
Options for resolving an Alias Warrant:
- PAY IN FULL – if the defendant IS NOT currently in jail – the defendant can pay their citation in full using any of these available Pay Now Online
- PAY IN FULL AT JAIL – if the defendant IS IN JAIL – you will need to go to the jail where they are being held and pay in full or post a bond to get the defendant released.
- REQUEST A PAYMENT PLAN – to do this, the defendant will need to come to the court offices in-person and be prepared to make a down payment to start the payment plan.
- REQUEST A COURT DATE – to do this, the defendant or their attorney will need to post a bond and then a court date will be assigned to you.
- REQUEST DEFERRED DISPOSITION – to do this, the defendant or their attorney will need to post a bond so that a court date can be secured because the Judge would have to approve granting you the deferred disposition.
- HIRE AN ATTORNEY – If you have hired an attorney to represent your case(s), the Court will communicate all matters through the attorney. Contact the attorney’s office for advisement or status of your citation(s).
- POST A BOND – Posting a bond will remove the warrant and you will be placed on an upcoming court setting.
