Deadline to File for a Place on the Ballot (May 2, 2020 Election)

Council Places 1, 3, and 5 are elected in May of odd-numbered years. The full candidate packet will be available online (as a PDF) at www.cityofkennedale.com/election; and in the City Secretary's Office (printed), no later than Wednesday, January 16, 2019, which is the first day to file for a place on the ballot. The deadline to file is Friday, February 15, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. However, we do urge you to file as soon as possible. There is no filing fee. Please visit www.cityofkennedale.com/election to learn more about running for local office.
