The first date to file an application (PDF) for a place on the City of Kennedale ballot for the Saturday, May 2, 2020 General Election (for the purposes of electing the Mayor and Council Places 2 and 4) is Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Applications should be filed with the City Secretary's Office (City Hall, 405 Municipal Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060) during regular business hours. There is no filing fee.
The deadline to file an application for a place on the ballot is 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020. No applications will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on this date.
When available, the full candidate packet will be published at www.cityofkennedale.com/candidatepacket and available in printed format in the City Secretary's Office.
