Water and Sewer Rates
The current water and wastewater (sewer) rates (PDF) were adopted by City Council on September 17, 2018. Note: Each March, your bill reflects a new sewer average based on your individual usage for the three-month period from the November meter read to the February meter read.

Leak Adjustments
If a leak results in an unusually high utility bill, you may request an adjustment following repair.

Discounts
Tax exemptions are not available. Low-income senior households or disabled customers may be eligible for discounted rates (reapplication required every two (2) years). To apply for a discount on the residential water and sewer portion of your utility bill, you must fall into one of the following categories and meet the requirements as defined in the Code of Ordinances (summarized below):
Senior Citizen (Income Restrictions)
- Age sixty (60) or older;
- Present proof of residency via valid driver's license (or State-Issued ID) and a current electric bill; AND
- Present proof of annual household income not to exceed $32,000
Disabled
- Verifiable disability; AND
- Present proof of residency via valid driver's license (or State-Issued ID) and a current electric bill.
Apply online today or complete a Credit Affidavit Application (PDF) and email it to customer service. Should a qualified recipient pass away, the surviving spouse will continue to receive the discount until the end of the current fiscal year (September 30). Those receiving this credit must submit a new application every two (2) years and be re-approved.
Collections
Closed accounts with outstanding final balances may be sent to Valley Collection Services. Once an account status has been changed to "Collection Agency", the customer must make payment directly to Valley Collection Services either online at the Valley Collection Service website or by calling 1-632-931-4325.

There is a 24-hour dropbox in the entryway of City Hall (405 Municipal Drive) and at 1100 SW Green Oaks Boulevard (look for a red arrow on the exterior wall). You are advised against leaving cash in a dropbox.
